Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The two brothers had been previously detained and released. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Surinamese Satish Kalpoe, 18, front, gets in a car to go to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who had been detained and released in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway were arrested again Friday based on new evidence, officials said. The brothers were detained on suspicion of involvement, with unidentified 'other people,' in premeditated murder and rape, the prosecutor's office said. Person to the right is unidentified. I agree - I outright REJECT the sex slave scenario. Even if it were true it would STILL involve a Van der Sloot and the ALE imo. But I really don't buy it. Dr. Phil can be such a big blowhard. In this case, I think his verbal diarrhea was really UNprofessional.
I am curious as to who the mysterious witness is....
Thanks for that link, Sheba.
Palladin, thanks for your fist hand account. I love that line about Arubans won't be able to afford a bar of soap!
Mammana is ready to go with a boycott on Beth's signal...he says it's gonna hurt. I like this guy!
"Two eyes for an eye." Joe Mammana
WOW! I'm gonna watch Rita later on the re-run tonight. This is sounding gooooooooooooood. When your dealing with vicious dogs you have to get out the whip!!
I figured Joe just might be working "in the background" just in case. That bar of soap quote is priceless.
Since everything that has come out of Aruba's collective mouth lately is the issue of a boycott, then I find that their latest actions call for just that. A boycott is WHAT THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT MOST. Be prepared to KNEEL Aruba.
When is she on again? Anyone know off hand?
I'll tell you what, I'm going to fax EVERY single travel office in my small city (150,000 population) and ask them to NOT recommend Aruba or any Dutch controlled territory for vacations for Canadians. They need to be made aware that young pretty Canadian girls have just as much chance of this happening to them also and that Aruba is NOT a safe place to travel to. IF you do travel to these Dutch controlled territories and you get in trouble, you have NO legal protection whatsoever. I will also write a letter to the Editor of the Kelowna Daily Courier and state the same. CO
I'm going to go and check that out right now che.!!

Me too! Could be one of the Kalpoe bros. Or someone with less dirty hands but still involved. Maybe someone who helped dispose of the body or other evidence.
Another thing on Greta was an interview with Satish's attorney. Says Satish regrets lying about the security guards, but has since told the truth with his story unchanging. He lied because Joran asked him to lie. Claims Paulus's meeting around the pool was just to give general information about what would happen as they were investigated. Seems to me Satish's attorney is also defending Paulus. Satish should be worried about that because I don't think Satish's best interest is his attorneys primary concern. I think he'd give Satish the shaft to protect Paulus. Paulus is the key to the cover up.
Greta asked Satish's attorney why would they lie in the first place if the second story is true, then the truth would have served them better. The attorney babbled in response with a non-answer.
I rested my eyes for a few minutes, until I woke myself up snoring (I hate that!) after Dave, so I missed the attorney, and I guess the panel.
I'm a slow learner in life on a lot of things. But once someone tells one lie, I pretty much write them off. If they would lie so significantly because joran asked them too, you bet they would do it when their butts are in a sling and it's them or the sharks.
It's coming on at 10pm my time which is Pacific time.
A boycott is WHAT THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT MOST.

You've got that right! Aruba's main concern gives us the answer to what is required to make Aruba produce the required results.
Cool -- my time zone too! Thanks
Yeah I heard Satish's lawyer's NON answer also. Greta nailed him with that last question. The "just general legal advice comment" was the EXACT answer that Paulus VDS gave to the Judge when he was in court and asked that question. I guess they are following THE PLAN huh? Stick to the same story, fix it so the body can't be discovered, and eventually it will go away.
What Aruba will have to decide sometime from now when they have no money or anything coming in is IF it will be worth it to "sacrifice" the Van der Sloots both father and son.
For sure, when it comes down to it, the Van der Sloots will BETRAY the Kalpoe brothers without the blink of an eye. One thing is for sure, these people are going to regret that they EVER hatched a plan to rape and kill Natalee Holloway. THIS will eventually ruin ALL of them.
Okay, Goodnight freepers. CO!!
One thing the Arubans worried about a boycott should realize is they can prevent a boycott. If they would march on the cop shop and prosecutors office demanding justice for Natalee, then they wouldn't be hearing the words 'boycott Aruba' from Americans. They need to realize which is the right side of the fence in this case and jump over to join Natalee's family in seeking justice for Natalee. They need to realize that a human life is worth more than their economic status.
You know what else I found odd with Dave's comments? The comment from the crooked cop "usually in situations like this" how many times has this happened?
"....for instance there are people living in the United States of America who have to be interviewed again, this time more profoundly."
This bit made me think of Charles Croes, the cellphone operator who speaks near-perfect American english....whatever happened to him? Just a flash-in-the-pan or what?
Yeah, the prosecutor on Greta's panel went nuts over that comment. It begs the question of how many cases like this has Aruba covered up before? These Arubans get diahrea of the mouth defending Aruba and end up giving away little nuggets that betrays their claims of 'one happy island.'
The media needs to keep microphones in their faces because there's no telling how much dirt they'd dish out on their little island without even realizing it. Keep them talking and they'll damage their own tourism business. Their pride will be their downfall.
