The Investigating Team looks at the case from a different angle and there was enough evidence to keep them incarcerated for certain violations.

I seem to remember that Aruba has a law about kidnapping charges against anyone who leaves an establishment with another person, who then disappears.

This may be the least of what DomPIG is referring to as "certain violations", but the totally inept ALE can't even bring that charge against the "unholy threesome".

I was thinking trolls are like NOLA bull-frogs, they have so many problems that they do not know which way to jump.

The ALE theory in processing evidence at a crime scene is, "if in doubt throw it out, no evidence here."

The ALE is the laughing stock of all the real professional law enforcement agencies in the world.

Besides suspecting that DomPIG owes too much allegiance to van der Straten to do a really vigorous investigation, I suspect a lack of prosecutorial determination on the part of the prosecutor (every time I see a picture of her I trust her less and less) and I suspect a conflict of interest on the part of the judge (bags of money to secret accounts in Switzerland).

Surinamese drug ringleader sentenced to 15 year prison term

PARAMARIBO, Suriname: Businessman Pritam Hira was on Tuesday sentenced to a 15 year jail term by a Surinamese court for cocaine trafficking and leading a drug ring. In addition Justice Krisnapersad Pultoo slapped him with a 20,000 Surinamese dollars (US$ 7,000) fine.

The prosecutor had sought an 18-year prison term against the lumber dealer. The magistrate also ruled that the Public Prosecutor may launch a criminal financial investigation against him. If successful, the convict could be stripped of all his possessions acquired with drug earnings.

Hira was charged for the importation of huge quantities of cocaine into Suriname with the purpose of trafficking. He was the brain and leader of the ring, said the judge, discarding arguments of his defense lawyers that the concession where the drugs were found was not his.

On hearing the sentence Hira became enraged and had to be dragged out of the courtroom by five police officers. Scolding the bench, he also named police officers allegedly engaged in drug activities.

“I don’t have anything to with drugs. I am not the one you have to arrest, but police officer Peiters,” Hira yelled, referring to police lieutenant Ruben Peiters. Some years ago this police officer was implicated in a cocaine shipment from Suriname to Belgium. His involvement however was never proved and he was subsequently acquitted and joined the police ranks again.

In an unrelated case, rice exporter Shyam Guptar’s preventive custody was extended on Tuesday. Lawyers demanded his release since an additional investigation that could be in favour of their client has not yet been ordered. He is prosecuted for alleged involvement in the trafficking of cocaine through Venezuela to Portugal. A ruling will be given later this month.

Besides exports to Europe, Guptar was also the major exporter of rice from Suriname to Jamaica. He was also the owner of the now bankrupt ITA-airline, which operated on the route Paramaribo-Brussels. In November 2003, police in Porto, Portugal, had seized a ship owned by Guptar, in which 296 kilos of cocaine destined for Holland were concealed.

The drugs, hidden in one of the ballast tanks under a 1,500-tonne rice shipment, were intercepted in Portugal. In that bust, the crew of the ship was arrested and that investigation also led to the arrest of Guptar’s 28 year old son at the airport in Porto. Guptar is also suspected of ordering a shipment of 10 kilos of cocaine hidden in a fish shipment from Paramaribo to the Netherlands.

If they dumped her in the water, it was close to shore on the other side of the island to be beaten to fish food by the waves on the rocks and pushed under the island into caverns (Boca Mahos), or they took her by boat far away from the island (N or W probably) and dropped her weighted body out at sea IMO. Where Dompig sent TES to search is a safe place where most of the tourists do their diving, under water exploring.

Right - so what was the motivation of DOmpig? Just to keep them thrown off?

My guess would be to divert them and keep them occupied in a safe place for divers so they didn't get into any trouble and didn't cause Dompig any problems. If left to their own devices, no telling where they might decide to look and someone from Dompig's force would have to constantly keep an eye on them. I would be surprised if he was doing anything but just running out the clock for their planned stay.

Beth is going to be on Greta tonight. Greta says we'll find out why all the searchers left the island today and why Beth is furious with the ALE.

I guess it's time I give up my final hope of anything good coming from the ALE. I had held out hope for Dompig to do the right thing. Beth, Dave, and Paul had expressed some confidence in Dompig and that gave me hope. To think there is no hope for legal justice and relief for Natalee's family is heartbreaking.

My fear of vigilante justice is the blame would be placed on Natalee's family even if they had no knowledge of any event. Then they will have more grief and trouble to endure. It's a no win situation for them.

No one will follow through – nothing left for the searchers to do.

The searchers were there sear ching what did they need?

They needed additional equipment – the FBI had it, what Dave did was try to get ALE to request FBi, but as of Saturday they hadn’t done it. So there’s no reason for them to wait on the Island in hotels waiting.

Is the FBI standing by waiting for the call?

Absolutely – they will not and have not done it.

Have you called them?
I have called Dompig several times, he wouldn’t return my calls. I hope to run into him.

Are you getting the dodge?
I tried several days to the police station, had his cell phone, left several messages.

They won’t say where he is.

You know Che, I wish someone could get the records of surface activity around Aruba on the nights of 5/29/05 to 6/10/05. I know that a record exists.

Furthermore, I know that a record exists of all radio traffic between surface contacts and between surface contacts and land based transceivers.

All of this information was more than likely logged at FOL Queen Beatrix International Airport and sent to Washington as non-priority traffic.

If one could put their hands on this info I think that it would answer a whole lot of questions.

It's hard to even respond, I hope he understands we're not flying people on brooms to Aruba. They thought they were pulling her out of a crackhouse, plane on tarmac for two days.

True thoughts can't be relayed on how aruban lawyer feels things are going.

Lawyer has not indicated any negativity towards Beth. Hopes they will arrange meetings with them, hopes they are available.

Searchers are gone, but Beth is going back by herself, with a level of determination.
