Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. nothing like holding up a mirror to the ugly frog who claims to be a prince...didn't take long, did it? i love this group and everyone who is part of our devoted freedom team...and, to Althor the Untruthful, you wouldn't know anything about a free republic if it walked up and tapped you on the shoulder, just as you have no concept of the parent/child bond that this story is all about, along with the nobility of the american citizenship and the sanctity of right of safe travel...you are likely a bar sloth who can identify more with the slooters than their victim...and, as dixiechick2 has proven, you are also a demented, habitual liar...

Let me see now, I'm sorry, I forgot Natalee was on a "Spiritual Retreat" in Aruba, and went with J2K to "pray," on the beach, and "Baptize" the two "Surinamese heathen" in the Ocean!!! Was that it???

Or was she partying in a "Girls Gone Wild" environment brimming with booze, drugs, and sex, and was according to witnesses "acting wild," doing "impressions" of "9 1/2 Weeks" laying on the Bar while the husky bartender
"erotically" traced the "sensuous" curves of her legs with an "ice cube," offering Joran "Jelly Shots" to be "licked" from her "navel," and went with three strange males
"exuding" hormones, into the night to do what? Play "Patty Cake?" or was it perhaps to engage in a "Menage a Quatre"?!?! Of course, that would not have been "proper Lady-like behavior" back in Mountain Brook!!!

But oh, silly me! I forgot, you did not see the interviews of the "witnesses" from C&C on TV because after having interviewed them the Network pulled the plug on airing it because of what the witnesses were saying they "saw" that night,....lest the "contents" of their "testimony" may have "alienated" Beth, the "Goose that Lays the Eggs of the Golden Ratings!"

Awwww, does it feel great to suddenly have this all about you?
What a dolt!

I find it interesting - the people that complain the loudest about the media coverage are usually the ones that no one would care about if they were missing.....Nor do they have anyone in their life that they would move heaven and hell to find. What a sad and lonely life that must be.

You're really a sad little excuse -- that rock you crawled out from is calling for you.

You must really be joking! I a Muslim?!?! LOL!

I speak several languages, but I assure you Arabic is not one of them!!!

Want to know how much "muslim" I am???

I would not waste the resources been spent in Gitmo in treating these "murderers" who "behead," and "blow up" innocent people for no other reason other than that of being Christians and Jews (or associated with them in any manner), with so much "finesse," extending them "Geneva Convention" treatment, housing them in "Muslim Climate Controlled Environments" (not too cold, not too hot),
providing for their "religious dietary needs" (treating them better than we treat our own inmates), and eventually releasing them, as so many "bleeding hearts" of the left in Washington have "brayed" we should do (isn't that ironic! Don't "Donkeys" bray?!?!), so that when they go back and KILL more of our boys in Iraq, the Democrats and the Left can all cry in dismay: "Forget the Alamo, remember Viet-Nam," get all "panicky," run to hide under their beds, and raise the "wail" to pull our troops out, and have them all come running back home with their tails between their legs!!! If it was up to me, I woul feed the prisoners in Guantanamo "pig bellies" every day, and if some "Durbin" came harping about "Gulags," I would tell him to shut the hell up, and if he wished to see a "Gulag" to take a long hard look over the fence in Gitmo, and look at Cuba!
Most Cubans would give an arm and a leg, to have living conditions similar to that of the "detainees," and they would eat the "pork bellies" gladly too...with rice, black beans, and fried plaintains!!! LOL!

So much for my "muslim" tendencies!

Check out this explanation from the Dutch as to why arresting the security guards was a good thing. Logic fails them...as usual! They can't figure out that letting the three prime suspects loose for the first 10 days or so and not searching the entire sloot's property lost more evidence than they have gathered during the entire five months of their so called investigation.

ALE has proven themselves to be inept, at the least, but mostly corrupt. Any investigator worth a dime would have continued to treat the gruesome threesome as suspects while checking out their security guard story. But not ALE! ALE can't seem to walk and chew gum at the same time. At least they seem to want us to believe that, while I suspect corruption plays a stronger role than stupidity in the ALE's performance.
-----

"That the suspects were only heard and not held as suspects right away as the last three seen with the girl is questionable and was a call made based on their backgrounds and a story they told about a security guard. On the other hand, if two innocent guards had not been arrested first based on that phoney story and had not talked to the other suspects in jail, the authorities might have known even less than they know now."

Just remember what we found out recently from the H/T's was one of the first things ALE asked them to do - lay a grand on an unnamed cop which would make the investigation go faster. Very good thing they didn't fall for that because they would have had cops lined up from one end of the island to the other waiting for "theirs," if they had. What does that tell you about whether they are corrupt or inept, not that they might not be both, but my $ from experience goes with the former first and foremost.

Sounds to me like in the article shebacal posted from Aruba paper recently, Dompig is saying that things could be rapidly brought to a conclusion if Beth would just turn over that trust fund in the US bank that the family is using to pay for what the cops should have or should be doing.

From the Daily Hearld:

"As tragic as Natalee’s disappearance is, there is a judicial system in the Dutch Kingdom that has served it well for centuries and with a tradition of fairness few will contest."

The Dutch/Aruban judicial system where the court hearings are closed and secret, where the victim's parents are not allowed inside, and where one judge, or at most 3 judges make all the determinations of admission of evidence or guilt of suspects does not seem the least bit fair to me, even if it has served those who rule Holland for centuries.

"Mistakes may have been made in parts of the Aruba investigation, but it is downright ludicrous to even suggest that a whole country or all its judicial authorities did not want to prosecute and convict someone for this terrible episode had there been any way to prove it."

The primary mistake that Aruba made was to allow van der straaten, the friend of the suspect's father, the one who said, how am I supposed to investigate the son of my best friend, to control the so-called investigation, and to allow the prime suspects 10 days to destroy evidence.

Wow! I missed that info. Sounds just like Mexico. Last time I went through Mexican immigration everybody behind the counter got a tip. They don't directly ask for money, but they make it clear that money will get you through immigration a lot faster...and it did.

From Scared Monkeys:

Delta Song Will Stop on May 2006

Fewer Airline Passengers to Aruba in the third quarter of 2005 and “The Prefect Storm”.

Many have pondered and those in Aruban tourism have worried over what the effects would be of the perception of the handling of the Natalee Holloway investigation and its affects on American tourism. From A.M. Digital comes an article with some of the answers.

Although the number of passengers that go through Queen Beatrix International Airport are down this third quarter, -3.5% compared to the same quarter last year, aircraft movements are up 6.2%.

Snip...
The Aruban tourism official seem to have a need to worry as they met with other “Crisis Communications for the Tourism Industry” at the annual Caribbean Tourism Conference on St. Thomas.

The official also indicated that the Holloway family “had connections” and the media had arrived on the island of Aruba within two days of Holloway’s disappearance. One result of this was that the ratings for FOX news, and the Nancy Grace show had doubled.

Snip...
Delegates had numerous questions for the panelists. Among those coming to the microphone was the Director of Tourism for Aruba, who described the disappearance of Natalee Holloway as “the perfect storm“.

Snip...
No matter what side one takes in this matter or what one’s theory and speculation is; the case was not handled properly from the beginning. One side screams that the Van der Sloot home should have been completely searched, while the other side states that the Mountain Brook teens should have been questioned more. Both sides may be right; however, it does show that so many things were missed during the crucial points in the investigation that if done we most likely would be looking at a much different scenario today.

There is a line in the movie “The Perfect Storm” when that may fit the situation at hand that Aruba may be facing. Captain Billy Tyne says to Bobby Shatford as they discuss Bobby’s love of the sea and his girlfriend who he can’t stand to be away from … “Son, you’ve got a problem”.

That never happened like that, and it goes to show you all the "misrepresentations" and the "fabrications" that Beth and her "cronies" have continuously made, and keep propagating through blogs like these!

When Joran and the Kalpoes were first interviewed by the police, they were interviewed as witnesses. That is when they lied about having left Natalee at the Hotel, and at that point there was no reason to "suspect" them in any way, nor was the general consensus that any "foul" play had taken place, and you may recall that Beth herself made a plea on TV to Natalee to call her, and posted posters with "Little Hootie call Big Hootie" all over Aruba.

Ten days later, when it was increasingly apparent that Natalee was not simply "sleeping off her hang-over," or had ran away with a local on a "sexual fantasy tour," but was obviously really missing, and the focus shifted on J2K from that of "witnesses" to that of "suspects" Van Der Straaten upon learning of this immediately "recluse" himself from the investigation, and had someone else take over it. That is when the alleged comment about his "friend's son" was supposedly made.

Stop drinking the "Beth Kool-Aid," look at the "real facts" objectively, and stop playing "Let's pin a crime on the J2K Donkey" game!!!

Althor

P.S. You may have noticed that a while back Dan Riehl had an "Epiphany," just as Saul had on his way to Damascus, and he has quite changed his position about Beth and this whole "fiasco" and how it has been "manipulated" and "botched" by the Twitty Camp and their PR campaign.

He sends you all his regards, and reminds you to feel free to visit, for a breath of fresh air!
