I haven't heard anything about Mammana lately. He was planning to go to Aruba with Beth. Heard there might be a problem with Aruba allowing him on the island. Beth plans to return to Aruba on November 1st...we'll see if Mammana shows up.

SCARBOROUGH: Possible break in the Natalee Holloway investigation.

Gerald Dompig, the new lead investigator in the case, said today that Deepak Kalpoe‘s taped confession that all three suspects had sex with Natalee Holloway could lead to a break in this investigation in Aruba, some heat finally being turned up by the investigators in that island that really has been engaged, in my opinion, in a Caribbean cover-up.

SCARBOROUGH: And put—and put the van der Sloot‘s—one of their closest friends, back on the case again?

HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Yes, put van der Straaten back on.

SCARBOROUGH: Is there any way to get justice in this system?

HOLLOWAY TWITTY: I don‘t know. I don‘t know. I don‘t know. I don‘t know if it will work, but I think that Aruba sees that they have to. I think that the pressure that stays on them makes them realize they have to solve this case.

HOLLOWAY TWITTY: You know, Joran van der Sloot and Deepak and Satish Kalpoe were not denying. They were not denying a crime. They were implicating each other. They were fingering each other over and over again.

And that was the day that the FBI came in, Doug Shipley (ph) came in and said that the way the interrogations are unfolding, there‘s a strong possibility that Natalee may not be alive. That was huge. That was the day that—I think, Joe, everyone buried Natalee that day, on June 10.

And then it just—from there, the night went on. There were body sightings, countless. They were knocking on my door. They thought they found her. Oh, no, they didn‘t. It went on from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. It was horrific.

So, whatever was happening that day, on June 10, we were getting the answer. Then, the next day, June 11, is when Prime Minister Oduber comes on international media and announces to the world that there‘s blood; there‘s blood in Deepak and Satish Kalpoe‘s car. I mean, all that was happening for a reason.

Today, Rice is slated to have a morning meeting with Beth Holloway Twitty, mother of Natalee Holloway, the Mountain Brook teen who has been missing for months in Aruba. Rice also invited Twitty to attend church with her at Westminster Presbyterian, the Titusville church founded by Rice's grandfather and where she saw her own father, the Rev. John Rice, preach.

I wish I could have more faith in the ALE actually being honest in wanting to solve this case. I believe that if they brought the Kalpoe brothers in and Joran and separated and interrogated them that the finger pointing would really start. However the interrogations have to be real interrogations such as the FBI would conduct. The bottom line in my mind is that LE would have no problem in charging the Kalpoe brothers but they want desperately to let the Van der Sloots off. I somehow don't think the Kalpoe's are gonna take the full fall but then they may be forced to. Perhaps they know that and that is why the entire group are sticking to one story. Problem is, Deepak appears to be coming apart to a degree. I think he could be broken and spill the beans.

It isn't only boycotting Aruba for the financial impact, but also the potential of people's lives being in danger in Aruba. Sure, there's crime everywhere, but law enforcement usually aren't in the business of ignoring it.

By now, it's apparent Aruba Law Enforcement's job is to cover up any serious crime that might happen to a visitor from the USA.

Oh, yeah, ALE might hand out the occasional traffic ticket, or frame innocent natives, but Aruban LE's main job appears to be losing information vital to an actual crime.

Wonder if ALE is afraid of having their throats cut if they make any effort to solve the crime? Because of whom they are protecting?

The entire police force, and by now, their families, probably knows who killed Natalee, how it was done, where she was placed after death, and by whom. They're afraid to talk.

I believe your right Lucy. But I also believe that they don't want to solve this crime because one of their "own" was involved. They aren't likely as scared of having their throats slit as they are of losing their jobs. Paulus Van der sloot is as involved in this crime as his POS kid and he has been key in the COVER UP!!

Just today I went to get a cup of coffee and a couple of cookies and as I was leaving the Chevron station I read the front page of our local paper. A Kelowna, B.C. man, 26 yrs old and 6 young American men have ALL been arrested in St. Maarten for something they don't know. They have been asked to sign a piece of paper and refuse because they could be admitting to murder. They have no clue what they were even arrested for!! Is St. Maarten Dutch run???? It only said a Carribean Island. Cripes, the entire Carribean and South America are off limits to me and my family.

This is a very interesting Catherine Crier show today. Jaime Skeeters talks about the Deepak tapes. He also said some professional person on Aruba contacted him that death threats have been made against him and Beth if they come back to Aruba.

Some man has contacted Skeeters about getting drunk with Deepak recently and Deepak saying yes, he took Natalee's body out in a boat and dumped it into the ocean. Dompig said he received info, but is cautious about the story, because many stories will be put forward.

Natalee Holloway Investigation: Water searches, tapes and bones?

An unconfirmed finding of bones was referenced by Tito Lacle during an interview with Greta Van Susteren, ‘On The Record’; October 24, 2005. According to Tito there has been no confirmation of these findings by authorities.

Tito: They have not found anything in specific. Earlier today there was a mention of finding some bones. Yet the chief of police or the person in charge rather, did not confirm that. He said he did not find anything, did not hear anything officially. So as we speak nothing official has been found. Although Arubans keep insisting on these new things being found today sometime.

From other sources in Aruba it appears that bones may have been found and are going to be tested. However, many speculate from the appearance of them that they may not be human. The searches continue, tips continue to come in and everyone waits for the authenticity of the Deepak Kalpoe/Jaime Skeeters tape.

Greta: Tito, what’s going on in this search?

Tito: Well basically Greta, Dave Holloway arrived in Aruba I believe last Tuesday. He came with Tim Miller and Texas Equusearch. They have been diving ever since. Making different dives in different locations. There was one of those dives where they used sonar cameras to search the bottom of the ocean. Today they particularly searched an area in front of the Marriott Hotel.

Greta: Have they found anything?

Tito: They have not found anything in specific. Earlier today there was a mention of finding some bones. Yet the chief of police or the person in charge rather, did not confirm that.
He said he did not find anything, did not hear anything officially. So as we speak nothing official has been found. Although Arubans keep insisting on these new things being found today sometime.

Greta: So, at least what we can see is there is talk or people are mentioning bones. But we have absolutely no confirmation that indeed bones have been found?

Tito: That is correct Greta.

Greta: There was some discussion about looking for some sort of cage. Something that was stolen from the fishermen’s huts which is just north of the Marriott hotel. Do you know anything about this cage?

Tito: No, nothing.

Greta: Have they had any other sort of hints or tips out there to make anyone feel the least bit optimistic that clues will be found?

Tito: Well, apparently the tips are coming in every single day as I mentioned last time.
In different locations, they are seeing sightings of even Natalee at some point.
Even as late as last week I was told by police officials that as strange as it might sound that tips are coming in. Even sightings, even people seeing her, people resembling her. Also dives are being done at specific locations. They had one at the harbor a couple of weeks ago.
Every other location, every tip they find is being carefully looked at.

Greta: We only have thirty seconds, Tito. In terms of the tapes going to Holland is the prosecutor optimistic this is a big break for the investigation?

Tito: It could be a big break. If it turns out the tapes are authentic, it means trouble for both the guys and the brother that was interviewed. If that’s the case he would have to come forward again and clear up what he said in those interviews.

Greta: Right now, all we know is that those tapes have been sent off to Holland for expert testing.
