rumors of criminal history in Suriname have been discussed from time to time......I happened to find this on a US State Dept report (Released on May 17, 2004) in the Suriname section:
Trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation remains a serious concern in Suriname. The United States strongly and consistently urged government action against trafficking in persons and funded a two-year program to assist Suriname in that fight. In response to these efforts, the Government established an anti-trafficking commission (composed of various ministries and a local NGO, and headed by the Ministry of Justice and Police) to study the problem. The Government also launched a public education campaign against trafficking in persons using public service announcements obtained from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the police established a registry of all brothels and their employees by nationality and established a "special victims' unit" and a telephone hotline in May to handle all cases from the commercial sex industry. In cooperation with police, they also worked to expand existing services for victims of domestic violence to meet the needs of victims of trafficking.

something is off with the whole kalpoe connection.....their name is kalpoe.....mommas name is ramirez but she and the boyz appear to be indo/paki ethnically.....and I remember noticing when Greta interviewed her hubby his name was yet another name.....then we heard the boyz were "raised by granma in Suriname......Suriname has little tourist industry compared to aruba....and a big reputation for trafficing in humans......kalpoes stepdaddy is well off as a "businessman", but we know nothing of the "business".....momma kalpoe worked as a waitress in a restaurant.....but hubby is "well off".....waitresses natueally size up a lot of tourists......momma kalpoe strikes me as less than honest every time I've seen her.....she looks like a mamasan.....joran seems like he could be easily led while believing he is leading, esp when drunk......he seems totally immature, while the kalpoe boyz do not.....there might be a drift here, but I can't really tell
obviously, I am wondering if mama kalpoe is a procurement agent in aruba from Suriname......it would require someone like joran to carve and snatch.....he would need to be "led" as I described, and best without his full knowledge......an agents "sons" near jorans age that lead him into illicit episodes that serve his raging hormones is a good way to do it.....maybe joran is only a convenient chump participant?

Hopefully, she was 15 at the time.....since the age of consent in aruba is 16. I can hear jorans lawyers now....consensual and "legal".....but that won't fly if she was 15 at the time. The involvement of the 'child advocate' would imply that this is the case, and possibly so with the other two as well.

The charge specifications (following Fridays arrests) I saw on TV.....the second one on the list looked a lot like a roundabout long translation of the dutch/aruban word for CONSPIRACY
it is being said that this freddie person, good friend to joran and kalpoes has been selling pictures of naked young girls........how interesting!
These pictures could also easily be part of the portfolio/catalog for clients in, say, SURINAME AND ELSEWHERE.

press release has come out from the prosecutors according to MSNBC that was sent to them by email.
They are in custody based up the same suspicions as before. There suspected of the primary criminal act of committing premeditated murder, alternately together with other people murdering somebody, more alternately, rob a person of her liberty with fatal consequences, and even more alternately, raping somebody.
Aside from these suspicions against the two brothers, there are new suspicions, which at this point the prosecutor is not commenting on. To arrest Satish Kalpoe and Deepak Kalpoe again, there had to be new facts and circumstances. That is the case.

I don't know if this equals conspiracy in aruba or not, or even if conspiracy is a crime there......but if at some point there was a plan to murder her because the case got too hot too fast, "premeditated" and "with other people" equals conspiracy
