Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The two brothers had been previously detained and released. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Surinamese Satish Kalpoe, 18, front, gets in a car to go to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who had been detained and released in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway were arrested again Friday based on new evidence, officials said. The brothers were detained on suspicion of involvement, with unidentified 'other people,' in premeditated murder and rape, the prosecutor's office said. Person to the right is unidentified. Investigative? Please...mouthpiece of Paulus is more like it.
Hi all. I normally just lurk, but want to throw in my .02 here. PVDS admitted the whole thing in his interview with the Dutch "Nova" program. He denied orchestrating a coverup, and maintained that he just told the boys "not to worry, with no body there can be no crime." So the boys did have something to worry about, he knows there was a death (body), and he knows the body won't be found.
So we don't need any more crap from the Aruban spin machine (and yes, it is an organized effort) about lack of evidence.
Interesting screen name. Isn't Yellow Jacket the name of Steve Croes' band?
I wonder if ole Steve, Paulus, Rueben, Joran, Deepak or Satish know what a .45cal 185gr Rem Golden Saber would do to their collective thick-ass skulls when traveling at 1140 fps and hitting with 534 ft/lbs of energy.
BANG! Sploosh!
I think that is the only thing that will get these dipsh*t's attention. Aruba is an island. We could go in there and nab Steve, Deepak, Satish, or Anita, and Joran's two brothers with a small team and good chances of success. Hell the Aruban police are so busy smoking crack they wouldn't even notice the gunshots.
TAW
I am getting ready to mail some letters. How much postage do you have to put on an envelope going to Aruba?
Perhaps, but not all of the corruption / sting pulling needed to be done for money. The father of Joran Van Der Sloot was best friends with the chief of police. In my opinion, the only reasonable conclusion is that the chief deliberately lead the investigation a stray during the first ten days to provide cover up time. Some money may have changed hands, but more likely PVDS knows of other wrong doings in Aruba and their is a lot of mutual interest in protecting PVDS and his son. This pattern could have been repeated again and again on this corrupt island.
I wonder if average people can buy guns in Aruba. Thinking of the people that need self protection of course. I guess if they can't buy them in Aruba they might be able to get them in Columbia or Venezuela (those two countries are probably only a couple of hours away by speed boat).
"According to Aruban law" is the way yellow jacket began one post....could have been any number of "Aruban spokespersons" including Ms. Schiffer-whatever her name is. The phraseology makes me think it is definately one of those types.

"Many men of middle eastern background feel that the behavior of western women is slutty-I have experienced it myself while traveling extensively in the middle east-that does not make him and evil person-just heavily influenced by his cultural upbringing."
When I heard Deepak's comments about Natalee's dress, etc. it crossed my mind that perhaps Mama Kalpoe may have lied to us about something else when she said her boys were "good Hindus." Suriname is 20+% Islamic in faith. Maybe Mama K is smart enough (or somebody running her is) to attempt to manipulate us. Says NH did not like her boys because they are "black"; knows enough to figure it's not a good idea to say boys are Islamic? Good old scubajap may have let something slip, sort of like Deepak referring to NH as the "body."
Interesting - I sure wish there was an investigative reporter that could really figure out who the kalpoes are. A few people have popped up here and there about Joran, but with the exception of Depaks boss, haven't heard anyone outside the family talk of them.
For overseas posting, always go to the
post office. They will weigh them and
tell you exactly how much it costs & they
will post them on the spot.
Deejay, Thanks. I put 80 cents worth of stamps on each envelop. The lady I called at the post office said that should do it for a one page letter. Hopefully she was right. I dropped the letters in a box today. I also sent a few dozen email encouraging friends and family to write and boycott Aruba.
Early on, like a few months ago,
someone on FR posted the postal
charges for Aruba & they seemed
almost double + 80 cents.
Well, fingers crossed, your letter
won't come back "postage due."
Bookmark.
Geraldo just juxtaposed Beth, the fmr FBI guy, himself, and CATHERINE CRIER, who was promoting her book, something against the "right" (surprise)...but what did Crier's book have to do with Beth and Natalee? Bad judgement on Geraldo's or their producer's part to let Crier's anti-evangelical screed piggy back on Beth/Natalee.
If I were Beth I would never appear on his show again.
PS, WHERE IS TEXCAT?
In the hopes that Yellow Jacket would become irritated and tip his/her hand a little more, I was beginning to respond to him/her with derisive statements against Aruba, (such as "America has lost a treasure, and that treasure was lost on the little scab of an island, Aruba.. I had noticed the poster was brand-new to this thread and had just signed on that day, and I was suspicious from the beginning, then MAWG let us know it was a troll formerly known as Rippersnapper.
So here are some troll monikers so far: IamTito, trueben, and Rippersnapper.
There are several posters here who are good at spotting them. One is a Texas cowgirl with a big lasso.

Ugh, I can't stand Catherine hatesallthingschristiancrybaby.
I did hear something new tonight though, the FBI guy said there was a cage missing, big enough to put a smaller body in, and weigh it down. As much as I want to hold out hope she's been shipped off the island, hearing what Depak said, I'm losing hope in that. But if it was a cage, there would still be something to recover I would think?
