On Aug. 12, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson declared a state of emergency "due to a chaotic situation involving illegal alien smuggling and illegal drug shipments" on his southern border. Three days later, Gov. Janet Napolitano followed suit in Arizona.
Reason: the crisis on the border. The ally-ally-in-free immigration policy of George Bush and Vicente Fox, beloved of corporate America, has created a hell on our southern border.
Those Southwestern states are being inundated by illegal aliens trashing ranches, killing cattle, committing crimes and eating up tax dollars. The traffic in narcotics and human beings from Mexico is a national scandal and a human rights disgrace.
What is true of New Mexico and Arizona is true of our nation, which is now home to an estimated 10 million to 15 million aliens who have broken our laws and broken into our country. It is a mark of the cowardice of our . . .

As long as the guest workers sign up from within their home countries, I would have no problem with the general concept of a guest worker program. Also, give people from all countries around the world (excluding our enemies) the same opportunity to sign up as a guest worker.
If it stems the flow of illegals who are drug runners, murderers, rapists, etc. then I'll support it as a first step to restoring sanity. Then if they get the courage to shut off all the welfare bennies and all the fraud associated with it, start hammering these businesses that are EVADING taxes and breaking federal law, repeal Motor Voter, etc. I'll be jumping for joy.
Does Cindy speak for you? The statements she makes about President Bush are almost as bad as the ones made by the Buchanan/Tancredo crowd.
You got me all wrong.
I really just wanted to know if your patio is done.
Pat Buchanan BUMP.
There are way more than 10 million illegals here. That number is a fiction. My guess is that it is close to 20 million.
I know for a fact based on my own neighborhood that it has gotten way worse since 2000.
Should we take this to mean that you are admitting to being pro-illegal immigration?
Yeah, those "Bush haters" who just happened to vote for President Bush.
I am in agreement with you're estimate. Maybe even more.
I think you're right---10 million isn't the half of it.
I know for a fact based on my own neighborhood that it has gotten way worse since 2000.
Party hacks and corrupt politicians can't seem to get the fact that they can't pull the wool over ordinary Americans' eyes over what's happening with illegal immigration---they can see what's happening to their own neighborhoods across the nation with their own eyes.
Have you ever wondered why there are so many people the give Bush a hard time on a conservative forum? Could it be that he runs as a conservative but governs as a liberal? Tell us about the last spending bill that he vetoed. The man has been engaged in vote buying from the minute that he was elected the first time (No Child Left Behind, Senior Prescription Bill, etc).
Many of us went ahead a voted for him again and even campaigned for him since the man he was running against is a socialist and an appeaser. Just because Bush is better than the socialist, terrorist appeasers that he runs against doesn't mean that he is some sort of God or even conservative.
While Kerry was going to give away Amercian sovereignty from the outside, Bush will give it away from the inside.
Still no denial that Cindy speaks for you.
Why in the world do you want to wait until after an attack? I want it stopped, NOW. IF that takes an impeachment, then it's what we need to do. With all the problems brought here by illegals, even without an attack, Bush has betrayed his oath of office. He is the top law enforcement officer for our country, and when he fails to enforce the laws of the land, then it's time for him to go. I have stood by him and defended him religiously, but he just keeps on screwing us, and I'm personally fed up.
He has put all of your family and all of the rest of our families in grave danger, not only from an attack, but from diseases that could kill your children or your families children. It could kill all of us. Not to mention the staggering costs to all of us taxpayers. IF that still isn't enough, how about because he is shredding our Constitution with his insane trade agreements. THAT is enough for me!!
Twice!
No, the anti-illegal movement is an anti-ILLEGAL and PRO-America movement. I voted for Bush and support about 90% of his agenda, but not his border/immigration agenda or excessive spending. I'm pro-business, but not if they hire illegal immigrants to avoid hiring LEGAL immigrants/Americans and paying them a decent wage/benefits/taxes - that's exploitation of immigrants and breaking the LAW. I'm pro-Republican and support about 90% of the GOP's agenda, but not their border/immigration agenda or excessive spending. I'm very much for the regime change war in Iraq, but not for the pussy-footing around with insurgents and their supportive neighbors.
Again, the anti-illegals movement is an anti-ILLEGAL and PRO-America movement.
I live with, next to, and near LEGAL immigrants, and am glad to do so, they add to the fabric of our country - LEGALLY.
Should we take this to mean that you are admitting to being pro-illegal immigration?
Oh stop with that Cindy soap opera crap. You are becoming very annoying.
You worship the law. The law is the highest authority in you life, more important than your God, your family, your country, even your own self.
It doesn't make any difference which law or what it says, you support all laws for no other reason than "it's the law."
Becoming?
You're funny...
Do Buchanan and Cindy speak for you also?
