Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway went missing May 30 during a senior trip to Aruba.

DJ - the first 48 ARE the most crucial. But, IF LE had at least seized the Kalpoe bros vehicle and the Van der Sloot vehicle THAT could have produced something of value I'm sure.
I am inclined to believe that the Kalpoe bros were used. Remember they were "summoned" to the VDS home to be given the "general" legal advice by Paulus VDS. As I've said before, there is NO INNOCENT explanation for the elder VDS stating that "no body, no case". He HAD to have known that there WAS a body.
With that news, I gotta run. Greta MUST be on right now. CO
I agree, but for the fact Kalpoe brothers stuck with the story even after they knew Natalee was missing, and knew they had a serious problem.
Interestingly, on more than one occasion Jug has used the word "devastated" for what we (the world) would feel when we know the truth.
I got worried when Beth talked about her journal. Wouldn't that be a very valuable piece of writing that the other side would like to see disappear? I hope she is making copies of it and doesn't leave it in her hotel room.
No, there isn't, is there? Unless they were the ones who DISAPPEARED HER, they should not have known she was gone until the Holloways came over. And at that point, they should have wondered where she was, themselves.
If they have no idea if Natalee is dead or alive, Paulus would not give them "legal" advice about not having a body. They would have no way of knowing if there were a body or not, or a case or not.
I tend to agree. Paulus was involved. They did hint that he might be taken in again, on Greta tonight. I think it was that Tito guy.
The fact that he stated, "no body, no case," leaves no doubt in my mind Natalee is dead.
Greta's replay coming on soon. The brothers know something... I hope they have told the truth this time. Lying for a friend doesn't cut it --- they had to have had more reasons.
If the worst came to pass and no body is found and they let Joran go, could tha Halloways go after the van der Sloots or the Kalpoes in a civil trial the way Nicole Brown's family went after OJ Simpson?
Consider: The Kalpoe's were driving the SUV that they were taking Natalee back to the hotel in (or whereever) and drivers are supposed to be responsible for their passengers. If they they say Natalee was drunk or not feeling well or whatever, wasn't it the driver's responisbility to see to it that she was turned over to the hotel staff or her chaperones? I guess it might depend on Natallee's age and whether she is considered to be a "responible adult or not."
The charges I'm thinking of might be along the lines of reckless endangerment for the driver and kidnapping or unlawful restraint/imprisonment for van der Sloot since he can't produce Natalee and everyone seems to agree that he was the last person to be seen with her.
They saw her get into what they thought was a cab.
What 'they thought' does not prove what Natalee thought. You're trying to project the mistaken impression of a group of likely inebriated teenagers into the Natalee's head.
All that matters is that she is missing and she was last seen with these three cretins and all three have lied and changed their stories.
One or more of them know what happened to Natalee.
I should tell you to go back and read the thread and get up to date. (in my best whiney voice) But, I won't. I went and got some posts for you. Wasn't that hard to do either. :)
I will tell you to improve your reading & comprehension skills. Here is Lesson One in the Refresher Course, a replay of your question & my answer, which, BTW, is very easy to do. Backtracking is easy; apparently comprehension is challenging.
Rippersnapper Question: Have any of the irate posters from other forums mentioned any of these 'sounter productive elements' in their posts, specifically?
Elli1 Answer: Don't go around other forums much. Wasn't an irate poster. Wasn't about BH. The comments were about Geraldo's sarcasm in one of his Aruba street reports.
I told you the comments were not about BH. I never alluded to a 'radio station'. How the hell you got from Geraldo to a radio station and Beth Holloway is a complete mystery.
I remember something on Fox about Sen. Shelby sending a letter to someone...the Dutch ambassador, maybe.
I should tell you to go back and read the thread and get up to date...
The incident I referred to has been referred to by other posters on this very thread. Well before you admonished me 'to get up to date.'
Perhaps they believed Papa (knew the law) and if they stick w/joran's story nothing will happen....no body...no conviction.
True. Although I find it hard to picture the father taking a body out to sea (or elsewhere) in full daylight, not knowing when serious inquiries as to the disappearance would be raised.
