I heard Greta say it could have been 11 AND 4. I didn't hear Greta say anything about murder.

If anyone asks, just say we took her back to her hotel and she stumbled getting out. She said she was ok and some security guard in black uniform was talking to her. And the brothers drive away.

The alibis were all laid out at the vdS house the next day. One of the brothers has admitted that much.

Maybe, then, what the judge meant when he stated that there wasn't any evidence that a crime had been committed and let the Kalpoe brothers go free while sending Joran back to jail, was that so far, while there certainly appears to be enough evidence to suspect that Joran MAY have committed a crime, until it's proven that he did, in fact, commit a crime, the Kalpoe brothers (or even the father) cannot be convicted of having been complicit in the commission of that crime. Short, non-confusing version: Ya can't be arrested for nor convicted of having been complicit in the commission of a crime if it hasn't been proven that the crime actually occurred.

Do you remember what words the Twitty's used in describing how the world would react to all of the information they had? I think they used the word shocked, which is the second or third time that they have hinted to some dramatic details that we all don't know.

I also thought it was interesting that Lott called them today and encouraged them to keep pushing. I continue to find the interest of elected officials and the State Department, coupled with the Twitty's references to additional information, compelling. (I would also add to that the involvement of the Dutch military. That is really a rather extraordinary measure, isn't it? We certainly don't devote those kinds of resources to these types of cases. And yet, I see it all as window dressing and deflection.)

"Fox news had an ex-FBI man on who's talked to the FBI down there, and they said they offered to help in any way, and Aruba has turned them down. It may be that Aruban LE is afraid foreign law enforcement help might compromise a case if they get enough evidence to hold a trial."

Just my opinion but I think it's a little more nasty then that. There was a tidbit going across the ticker on FOX yesterday (at this time) that said that a letter was sent to the Prime Minister and someone had responded that the FBI just cannot go around or come in and start dictating the terms of the investigation.

There was a picture posted way back in one of the earlier threads that showed a taxi with the lit taxi sign up on top of the car.  I would think that it woud be easier to spot than trying to catch the first two letters of a plate that may be moving. I found a similar one from Aruba Travel.

I don't quite agree with your theory. I don't the stories were planned ahead of the rape/murder. That would mean it was all premeditated and I don't think that is the case. I think she was given an accidental overdose.....or raped/killed in the "heat of the moment" after refusing his advances.....

I think Sloot planned on having sex with Natalee, even if it meant rape. So, I think that part was premeditated. I doubt that he planned to murder her.

Does anyone have a profile of Prosecutor Karin Janssen? I've googled all over the place and can't find anything personal about her. Very curious why she came to Aruba and who her friends (boyfriends, etc.) are.

They showed people picketing on FOX. One man who was asked for a statement stated, "This isn't the United States. This isn't New Jersey; this isn't California. She has to abide by aruban law."
