I have grown fond of our beloved Jossy even though his famiy is pretty dirty and him too. He is just cute. Reminds me of Marlon Brando in the Godfather. And of some of the Mafiosi I have come across when they are old. There is something sort of old world about these gangsters.

And that is probably the only thing attractive about these people. Good people love people, even looking for reasons to like bad folks. And to me that is one of the reasons humans are so damned interesting. The good love the bad (even though they know the bad would kill them in a second). Power of good over evil...shadow harbinger of things to come.
If Jossy is the patriarch, he is rotten to the core. I don't think that is so. I would imagine Jossy is trying to pull his bloodline out of the mire of evil. He probably ain't a bad guy...but he knows bad people (blood is awfully thick) and he knows how they operate.
He is probably in denial as to his family's guilt, but he can help. There is someone who knows the cost of this debacle. Millions. All due to a young playboy.
If I were the patriarch (I am a devout Christian, so this isn't possible for me), I would use some rather direct and effective means for getting to the truth...I would be p!ssed.
I kind of like Jossy too. And he speaks as if he WANTS to see Justice done here. It may be for selfish reasons but that's okay with me.
