An Open Letter to Mr. Jim Robinson
April/25/05 | jveritas

Posted on 04/25/2005 6:13:10 AM PDT by jveritas

What is happening to Free Republic Mr. Robinson? The Bush Haters and Republican Haters are getting louder and more daring by the hour. These phony conservatives who claim the Conservatism purity are savagely attacking President Bush and the GOP as bad as the worst liberals.

The Bash Bush feast is becoming a part of every thread. Everywhere you see Bush is a traitor, Bush wants to sell our sovereignty to Mexico, Bush is a liberal, Bush has no spine, Bush is destroying our economy, Bush is puppet in Vincent Fox hand, Bush is this Bush is that, everything wrong in this world is Bush fault.

Nothing but doom and gloom is coming from these phony conservatives. For them our economy is destroyed, liberals are controlling the government, the GOP will be finished by 2006, Mexico has invaded the US and changed its identity, China is superior to us, we are no more a superpower, and on and on and on. Every minor bump in the road is turned into a Mount Everest of catastrophe and disaster

Either Free Republic will remain the Premier political forum on the internet, a site to advance the real conservative cause and provide great and continuous support to our President Bush and the Republican Party, or it will be forum controlled by bitter and delusional phony conservatives who can never win on the ballot box, and come to FR to poison the atmosphere through their extreme kooky rhetoric and turn it into another Dummyland.

Enough is Enough.

Examining the politics of the countries of illegals, including the OTM's, and their behaviour once they are here, reveal much.... especially when they are backed by the ACLU, et.al..

Heehee, he pulled the race card on ya! You must have hit a nerve ;)

You know the American way better than I do? I don't hate America, and I certainly don't hate President Bush. I don't go around calling people racists when I'm losing an argument, either. You're the one who wrote this vanity, and you should have known you'd be called on it.

When we discuss issues that concern us, it's because we are concerned about the direction our country is heading. Maybe to you it's doom and gloom catastrophes, but for us, everything changed after 9/11. Maybe you can recall what happened here in America on that day. We want our elected officials to do everything in their power to prevent that from happening again. We also do not want our constitutional rights further trampled on. You see, we've been here a little longer than you, and most of us remember what it was like before the camel stuck his nose under the tent.

Goodness, the race card AGAIN?? Is that all you got? You've answered none of my questions as to why you hate your own country so badly you have come to this land of obvious law-abiding folks now recasted as racists by you and YOUR ilk. Until you realize that we are not scared of that little game anymore, you will fail to enchant me with your criminal charm.

2002?? Gosh my taxes and insurance have gone up at least 4 times since then. Geez, my health insurance went from 0 to 750 bucks a month. Sorry, your numbers are hogwash, and doubtful they fully reflect the overall cost particularly in educating our children, protecting our communities, housing their criminal asses in prison. Not to mention our additional gift of defending them in court.

BTW, I know the game of income tax paid by illegals.

Sorry, the BS game is over. The good part is that we all get to become a 3rd world country together.

Lol, maybe he thinks everyone on this forum but him, is white? He called me a bitter minority ;) Just maybe anyone who does not agree with him is a defacto racist? I'm starting to get really curious as to why he left his homeland, and came here.

If Roe v. Wade. could be enacted it can also be removed by Congress and the Senate. I don't hear the President saying he thinks it should be done, do you?

>>what's the UN's position on this illegal flood of mistreated people escaping a despotic regime?<<

Four questions. Please answer them all.

Do you fly the UN flag in front of your home or the American flag? Which should be more important to the future of your children, the US Constitution or the UN Charter?

What country do you live in and are you a citizen of the US or the World?

If you see some damage to one of the tires on your car, do you change the tire or wait until the tire blows and you wreck your car?

We want the borders closed before and immigration controlled by the proper authorities before the wreck happens. We already can see the damage illegal aliens are causing and are trying to prevent more.

jv, you would prefer that we close our eyes and wait for the wreck to happen, so we all have to take the bus. Sorry Sport, that's not my idea of being a responsible citizen.

The majority of Freepers whom you claim are "Bush haters" and "Republican haters" are in fact Republicans who voted for President Bush, incidentally. Your assumption that anyone who holds the President's feet to the fire is a "phony conservative" is frighteningly naive. ....especially since those (on this site) who take issue with the President's policies are criticizing him from the right.

Roe v. Wade was a decision of the United States Supreme Court, not an act of Congress.

If you're that undereducated about the abortion debate, I'd suggest a course of study before jumping into it.

Yes, I am getting very curious as well. What is clear, is that law abiding Americans are considered racists, no matter of color apparently. He openly supports illegal activity, but wants to become a citizen. First, he should not be allowed to become one if he refuses to accept that the law is the law, and we have a legal process that should be followed and promoted. We have others cheering this type of law-breaking on. So, I'm left to assume they also are cheerleaders for drug trafficking, human trafficking, dumping rapists and child molestors in our cities; They also would have us believe that they would obey laws as good citizens after they become such. Perhaps criminal activity in their countries of origin is a sign of patriotism they intend to infuse here.... I suppose we are all to believe that picking and choosing laws to obey is fine if you claim tax-paying status as well. Nowhere have I read that as a taxpayer I am allowed commit crimes. I wonder where the next invasion will come from and will there be screams from this hoard for the kings and queens in DC to uphold the law and enforce it, or will they too be met with arrogant pandering to the newcomers?

And who has the authority to strike down any law? Yes, Congress does.

They are the voice of the people and if the people should decide that a particular law is not fit for America then it is the duty of the Conress and the President to remove it.

I suppose it's fortuitous that replies such as yours (#'s 363 & 366) occurred at a time I was pondering the question, what turns political debate into fulminating flames?

By jove, I think you've got it!

Name calling!

Yes, your use of that patented 20th century New Left liberalism tactic robs threads of their purpose; to wit, adult, rational debate.

Thanks for helping identfy the real problem here, it has nothing to do with so-called "Bush bashing" whatever that is.

Welcome to America. Please understand that real Americans fight to protect the rights of all Americans to have opinions.

(Reality check: don't be surprised that when you start the name-calling you get it back in spades.)

Let me clarify it for you.

The US Supreme Court ruled that the US Congress and the State Legislatures have no authority whatsoever to regulate abortions in the first trimester, and only limited authority in the second and third trimesters.

They founded this ruling in the principle of the Constitution's strict limits on government intrusion into the personal lives of its citizens.

Whether you like it or not, or believe it or not, the hands of Congress and the President are tied in the early stages of pregnancy until the Constitutional argument for abortion is overturned in the Supreme Court.

Disciplined? You mean spank them and send them to bed without any supper?

Listen RACIST lady. I love America more than you do and I am far more grateful to America than you are.

You are a 100% freeze-dried lemony-fresh jerk.

I would like your citizenship case number. I want to testify against your becoming a citizen. We don't need any more creeps in America. Go back home and bitch from there.
