I'm sure Ken will Starrtle us. ;)

Aye, eugenics is a good one, but that leads us right back to Nazi Germany, doesn't it?
I've also been thinking slavery is a good one, this case has some resemblance to Dred Scott.

Dr. H is another one who says one thing under oath and in public. Glad you caught onto that. Nearly every day I have to type the same stuff about him and give the links about him.
When did FR become the dumping ground for every conspiracy theory to come around the bend? Didn't freepers do research or am I remembering that incorrectly?

It's funny, the F word is commonly used at my office as an adjective, and it's not even considered rude. I've certainly done it.
It looks different in print, even when it's only electrons.

My mom wouldn't let me buy comic books, so a huge chunk of my childhood is missing. They would have blown away in a hurricane anyway.

Wondering why/how you thought Rush was blatantly abusive today? Was this the segment you were referring to?
Excerpt: "Let me ask you a question. I'm sorry. The more this goes on the more steamed I get.
Why in the world is this lawyer able to spend so much time with Terri Schiavo in her final days? He's a lawyer. You know, this business about channeling souls, he may not even have a soul. He's a lawyer.
Why does she have to suffer any more than she is with some lawyer for her husband standing over her? It's like the voice of death coming out offering sales pitches. There's music in the room but she doesn't know it, she can't feel anything, her brain is dead, right?
Then there are flowers in the room. Whoopee-doo. She doesn't know it, she can't smell 'em, she can't see 'em, she's a vegetable. And then they've got a little stuffed cat in her arm. Big deal. She doesn't know it, she can't feel it, she's a vegetable. So what is the point?
The point is for this guy to be able to go in there and come out and paint pictures for all of us so that we will also be swayed into believing that peace and serenity and love and euphoria and compassion are accompanying this valiant death.
This is typical liberal compassion. They'll give you everything in the world you don't need when you're brain dead. They will give you flowers, they will give you music, they will give you stuffed animals, but what you do need, water and food, sorry, you are out of luck. We have more important things on our minds. Folks, it just offends me. I'm sorry, if it doesn't offend you. It should, but if it doesn't, it's your business. It's just absolutely creepy." ~ Rush

The doctor actually says he believes the injuries occurred after Terri's arrest. Everyone else has twisted it around to say Michael beat her. I've seen excerpts from his comments everywhere. It's amazing to cite someone who doesn't even agree with you isn't it?

I grew up in Northern California without hurricanes to wreck my non-existent comic collection. It wasn't until I moved to the Gulf Coast that I truly appreciated that you guys weren't whining.
Hurricane Andrew making a bullseye on my house changed that perspective.

I think you posted to the wrong person. I never said anything about Randall Terry.
I have no interest in living in a theocracy. Three years in Catholic School (St. Joe's, Warminster, PA... same town where Terri went to high school) taught me all I need to know about the grave dangers that come with nuns wielding unchecked power.
This isn't about religion for me. This is basic human rights. A good country doesn't forcibly starve its citizens to death. And a good country certainly doesn't do it on the word of a compromised husband who suddenly recalls his wife's wishes seven years and few hundred grand after the fact.
I can't pledge my allegiance to a country that allows this murder to happen. You feel differently. Not much we can really do about it at this point.
