Why in the world is this lawyer able to spend so much time with Terri Schiavo in her final days? He's a lawyer. You know, this business about channeling souls, he may not even have a soul. He's a lawyer.
Why does she have to suffer any more than she is with some lawyer for her husband standing over her? It's like the voice of death coming out offering sales pitches. There's music in the room but she doesn't know it, she can't feel anything, her brain is dead, right?
Then there are flowers in the room. Whoopee-doo. She doesn't know it, she can't smell 'em, she can't see 'em, she's a vegetable. And then they've got a little stuffed cat in her arm. Big deal. She doesn't know it, she can't feel it, she's a vegetable. So what is the point?
The point is for this guy to be able to go in there and come out and paint pictures for all of us so that we will also be swayed into believing that peace and serenity and love and euphoria and compassion are accompanying this valiant death.
This is typical liberal compassion. They'll give you everything in the world you don't need when you're brain dead. They will give you flowers, they will give you music, they will give you stuffed animals, but what you do need, water and food, sorry, you are out of luck. We have more important things on our minds. I missed that as I have given up on Rush. I am an original Rush fan by the way. Been a talk show junkie since '76. Actually I used to listen to Paul Harvey when I was a teenager in the sixties.
Rush is all bombastic all the time any more. He's offensive where he used to be a great listener to his callers. He's pushy where he used to be entertaining. He's even hateful these days.
Maybe he's back on dope or that liberal broad he's been fornicating with has gotten to him. I just don't like the man any more.
I don't think Rush is abusive, just angry. And there's nothing wrong with that. And while he's been over the top at times, I've never heard him advocate law breaking. :)
