I don't know if you were reading back around the Y2K time frame, but there was similiar insanity then too. Apocalypse this, Clinton ain't leavin that, overall election insanity, and personal attacks like you wouldn't believe. You simply couldn't have a reasonable conversation. I stopped lurking here for over six months because it has gone completely cuckoo.

I believe that I was more in shock at what was being posted on the threads than I was with what is happening to Terri.

I was so appalled that I refused to post until yesterday when they started sainthooding the chirens that were taken into custody because imho poor judgement by the parents. The LE officers were called every name under the sun for shackling the poor little homeschooled chirens.

Thank God for the sane.

Actually, those threads have been going on well over a year -- and, yes, they've been just as bad. It's just that the regular Freepers didn't go on them until last week.
