Why Terri Schiavo will die tomorrow, the day Jesus Christ died (stop the satanic ritual murder!!!)
self, you ^ | March 24

Posted on 03/24/2005 2:10:42 PM PST by Truth666

It's obvious that the martyrdom of Terri Schiavo is a satanic ritual. It's supposed to culminate tomorrow, day Jesus Christ died.
I'm sure many of you also have understood it. Instead of continuing listing the details, I will let you do it yourselves.

Note the last sentence and think about how many times you have been told the Catholic Church does not approve of this

You are entitled to your own opinion on this issue, but you are not entitled to your own facts. It is a FACT that the Catholic Church is opposed to the removal of feeding tubes from persons in a persistant vegetative state.

Pope John Paul II declared in March 2004 that removing a feeding tube is "euthanasia by omission" even in the case of patients judged to be in a "persistent vegetative state." The March 7th statement by Cardinal Martino was sent via e-mail from Monsignor Ignacio Barreiro Carámbula, director of the office of Human Life International in Rome and confirmed in an e-mail from Msgr. James M. Reinert of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace to Ignatius Press President Mark Brumley. Msgr. Barreiro writes in his March 7th e-mail to Human Life International in Virginia: "In our unflagging struggle to defend the life of Terry Schiavo this an important and very encouraging document that should receive the most ample possible distribution. Today as we celebrate the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas (1962 calendar) I am imploring the Angelical Doctor to came to our assistance and protect the life of Terri Schiavo."

Thanks!!! I couldn't believe we got axed. And in the Smoky Backroom no less. Nothing I hate more than going back after I've just taken 10 minutes to post something than finding the thread no longer exists.

I have NEVER seen that happen. I have GOT to make Mr. Peach dinner but if no one else does it, I'll post Wolfson's report on the open forum. If I can.

It's not my fact. It's what is quoted in the Wolfson report to Jeb Bush. If you have an issue with it, take it up with them.

your commentary, for which you are responsible, indicates that you believe the Catholic church is not opposed to this. i have provided you proof that they are. i am not interested in where you found your misinformation, just correcting the record with respect to the Catholic Church's position.

WHEW! That was close. I NEED this thread...it's an outpost of sanity in a mad world!!!

I'm still not 100% convinced I'm going to stay. This thread and our little "group" goes a long way toward maintaining my mood.

And if anybody's doing it, try not to hit abuse unless completely necessary!!!

Frankly, I've only seen "one" reason to hit it.......LOL.

That's what I'm assuming. We're in the backroom and if you post an article, maybe it defaults because this thread is here. I'd make sure I was in the news forum. Just my guess though.

I was just wondering if it wasn't that "reason" that was hitting abuse.

This comes from the Guardian Ad Litem Wolfson's report to Governor Jeb Bush:

(The actual full report is located up thread).

The current, generally accepted applications to terminal illness or persistent vegetative state define artificial feeding as artificial life support that may be withheld or withdrawn. In 1989, the Florida Legislature permitted the withdrawal of artificial nutrition and hydration under very specific circumstances. In 1999, following extensive bipartisan efforts, life-prolonging procedures were redefined as "any medical procedure, treatment, or intervention, including artificially provided sustenance and hydration, which sustains, restores, or supplants a spontaneous vital function." It is noteworthy that the general principle of artificial nutrition as artificial life support that may be removed in terminal and even vegetative state conditions is reflected in nearly all state's laws and within the guidelines of end of life care enunciated by the American Conference of Catholic Bishops and other religious denominations.
