Just a pragmatic citizen who loves President Bush and my country...and who wants the Right-to-Lifers to get in the back seat and STFU.
The grownups will let you know when we get there.
President Bush is one of those "kookie/whacked-out" pro-lifers who wish would go to hell.
And you are hardly an example of an 'adult' with your puerile ranting.
Well thanks to people who have no regard for life we have moved from exterminating babies to exterminating the severely disabled. Hitler would be proud. Who's next?
Well, if the right-to-lifers refuse to STFU, and won't get into the back seat, WTF YOU gonna do?
Don't make everyone laugh! If you love this country then don't turn it into the Netherlands. Boy, talk about confused!
Ronald Reagan loved this country. Here's what he had to say about this issue and 'this country':
Ronald Reagan's record reveals that no issue was of greater importance to him than the dignity and sanctity of all human life. "My administration is dedicated to the preservation of America as a free land," he said in 1983. "And there is no cause more important for preserving that freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning." One of the things he regretted most at the completion of his presidency in 1989, he told me, was that politics and circumstances had prevented him from making more progress in restoring protection for unborn human life.
You are painting with an awfully wide brush. How about explaining what you mean by Right-to Lifers in the back seat, and other interesting comments. Perhaps your definition of Right-to-Life would help our understanding of your understanding. For example, there are rtl's who are strictly one issue people who are able to call all pro-choicers, murderers. I disagree with that opinion.
There are others who believe that there should be right and reason used in determining whether someone is able to abort a child, still others who believe blanket authority for abortions on demand, is not right, nor reason, others still who believe health and welfare of the mother comes before health and welfare of the child forming in the womb.
Since all of the issues related to judicially legal abortion are based on mans rulings, including the judicially mandated "right" itself, most of the opinion related to the subject, is just that, opinion, and therefor subject to further light and knowledge, that is unavailable to the convincing of a majority that X is the answer to the problem.
Wow, I've never noticed your posts before. Have you always been this nuanced and well-mannered? Do you have a dog in the abortion fight or do you just think religious people are embarassing idiots? I'll bet that you have a very interesting philosophical framework governing your conservatism.
Bless your heart.
Sorry pal, but we are driving the car now. Best take the bus.
