The United Church of Christ (UCC) stooped to a new low by poting this picture on their homepage - with a woman grabbing SpongeBob by the crotch!

Evidently alltherage is convinced that sponge bob is being raped by Lesbians while darksheare in convinced that alltherage needs to be raped by lesbians..... Meanwhile, in a thread far away, CG is calling for a rabbi..... So far, plenty of potential for entertainment. Thank you Lord *sniff* for my funny FRiends and my DUmmy enemies. We are truly blessed.

Can we all just get along?
ATR, you are right about the attempt to hijack SB. That said, I am not sure the, ahem "ladies" in this photo are crotch grabbing. It looks to me like she may be just holding the doll without any intent.
I know the United C of C is flamimgly leftist/immoral, but do you have any other context or text from the site to support the "crotch grabbing" supposition?
When was this pic posted? If it was in the last couple of days, then I am more willing to accept that somehow it's a comment on the recent SB controversy.
I like SB cartoons. For the most part I find them witty and well done, though the recent SB movie sucked.
I also have noticed some slight gay agenda stuff in the SB cartoons, like in the episode where SB and Patrick compete in the Olympics against each other.
I have not banned my kids from watching SB (there's not much left I let them watch), but I am keeping an eye on this controversy and how the creators/producers of SB react. If they decide to make SB overtly gay in response, he will not be on my TV anymore.

It was posted for the first time this morning... if you look at the web site, it might put the whole thing into context.
