We have had many hours of hard rain here on the ocean.
The Ventura hillsides are almost sure to give way if it doesn't ease up.
I never got to Ventura, but I would like to see it some day. I did go to Palmdale a lot, to LACR, but that's sorta like AZ...Most places in CA I can do without.
Eureka is beautiful, but way too rainy for me. So I guess I will only visit when the weather agrees with me.

We are to have this heavy rain through Tuesday.
If history stays true to form, not only do we get slides now, but they will keep coming for 3-4 months.
