Because we can speak for ourselves.LOL but you're speaking for a group (what group you're speaking for is still a mystery).
To: Howlin
Here you are again, downplaying the role of evangelicals in the election, and criticizing their role in speaking out against the ascension of Arlen I-never-met-an-abortion-I-didn't-like Specter.
Is this a new crusade for you?
To: Howlin
We can speak for ourselves, yes, and we are. Call it a hunch, though, Dobson's words are going to get a lot more attention and a lot more done that you or I. Again, that would appear to be a good thing.
And "threats"? Where are "threats"? I don't see any.
Unlike so many other Christian leaders who have sat idly by and just prayed for some magic solution to the continued growth of government arrogance and decay of our society, Dobson has finally had enough and is now standing up and speaking out. For this, you wish to spite him? It's no wonder the political left has gained so much ground.

"And I don't like threats."
Ditto, and a hearty "Amen!"
For the record, I am opposed to Arlen Specter - period - but I have to wonder which Senators Dobson was referring to when he threatened revenge against Senators who renege on their promise to do the right thing.
Did any GOP Senator ever "promise" to vote against Specter (with that course of action being the "right thing")? If not, what/who exactly is Dobson talking about when he threatens those who break their "promise" to do the right thing?
Specter needs to be defeated, yes, but man - that Dobson needs to get over himself.

this is funny ...
We need all the help we can get: plus what made you so right and Dodson's support not wanted? Arrogrance is not a becoming attitude to exhibit in front of all the readers of this forum.
Thank God for President Bush's win. Voices seeking to remove Senator Specter from the head of this committee are welcome indeed. Your assistance is wanted and needed and so is Dr. Dodson's.
