Jurors turn focus to Scott Peterson's fishing boat
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Jurors in Scott Peterson's capital murder trial want to see the boat the fertilizer salesman allegedly used to dump his wife's body in the San Francisco Bay, according to two sources close to the case.
The panel wrote a note to Judge Alfred Delucchi Friday requesting an inspection of the 14-foot aluminum Gamefisher Peterson took out on the bay Dec. 24, 2002, the day he reported his wife, Laci, missing.
The sources confirmed to Court TV that the boat will be brought to the courthouse and jurors will see it Monday.
The request to see the boat came as the panel completed a third day of deliberations without reaching a verdict. The six men and six women have weighed evidence for nearly 19 hours. They will spend the weekend sequestered at a hotel, but they are not permitted to discuss the case until they return to the jury room at about 8 a.m. Monday.

At that point, Scott knew he had been seen. His original golf excuse was out the window no matter what. Yet, he had a license for the 23rd and 24th. He never told anyone that he had a license for those days. The fishing trip wasn't spontaneous. He had got the license a few days before. So we know he wasn't planning on going golfing. He was planning on going fishing. He didn't use it on the 23rd because he played "wonderful hubby" and accompanied Laci on the 23rd to several places just like he played wonderful boyfriend by going with Amber to a xmas party while his wife went alone. It's about priorities. Fishing/Golfing, Amber/Laci, Freedom/alimony & child support.
After he was seen at the Bay, he panicked and made some phone calls. But he never said where he was to anyone except Laci...who never answered. But he said she was going to be baking. She should have been there. No concern on his part?? Guess not!! He must have really panicked when he got home. He even ignored her being missing and washed his fishing clothes. Anyone I know would have left them on the machine at best and gotten on the phone.
Then add inviting the neighbor who put the dog in the backyard. I'll never understand why she didn't knock on Laci's door to see if she was okay. After all, the dog was running around dragging his leash, Laci was 7 months pregnant, Scott's truck was gone....a "not-normal" situation.
Then Scott invites her for a meal with family members. She had to be there so Scott could ask her what time the dog was found. Scott thought he was okay timewise originally but then the lady retraced her footsteps and Scott got jammed into a very small time frame.
Something still doesn't seem right with this neighbor. She might have straigtened out her time frame because she knew the police could by investigating further. I think this neighbor saw Scott put the dog in the truck, with a leash on, when he left and THAT'S WHY she didn't knock on Laci's door.....she had last seen the dog WITH SCOTT.
Was this the same neighbor who robbed the house? Did she having an affair with Scott at some point.
I agreed with it all until the end.
Karen Servas found the dog. She came off very rational and sane.
Kim MacGregor is the flaky neighbor.
The fact that Laci's car is in the driveway, her purse is in the closet, her jewelry in the box on her dresser makes his 'surprise' at her being gone completely implausible. No smell of baking (good point on her being at home to bake when he called), no mess of cooking preparations.
And he calmy got out pizza, used the washer and took a shower???? He should have thought harder about that on the drive home. Makes no sense at all.

No..not the same..She was not part of a "plot" .She just happened to find receipts that allowed her to nail down the timeline..which is a ten minute timeline from the time Scott left the neighborhood and the dog was found dragging the leash..
