Jurors turn focus to Scott Peterson's fishing boat
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Jurors in Scott Peterson's capital murder trial want to see the boat the fertilizer salesman allegedly used to dump his wife's body in the San Francisco Bay, according to two sources close to the case.
The panel wrote a note to Judge Alfred Delucchi Friday requesting an inspection of the 14-foot aluminum Gamefisher Peterson took out on the bay Dec. 24, 2002, the day he reported his wife, Laci, missing.
The sources confirmed to Court TV that the boat will be brought to the courthouse and jurors will see it Monday.
The request to see the boat came as the panel completed a third day of deliberations without reaching a verdict. The six men and six women have weighed evidence for nearly 19 hours. They will spend the weekend sequestered at a hotel, but they are not permitted to discuss the case until they return to the jury room at about 8 a.m. Monday.

but it does seem that a smart man would...Have a wife like Laci and a girlfriend like Amber?
(I defended Amber from the unfair abuse posted about her on this forum in the early days, but your "smart man" theory seems to be easily demolished.)

I don't know. Ive pulled floating stumps out of the water into my 9 foot rowboat before. Of course I don't have the same wave action they would have on the bay.

People who get all worked up over this case are not very intelligent, IMHO. And it's your job to seek them out and ridicule them?

The weather was somewhat RAW that day, not at all attractive for being out on a fishing excursion. How many others were doing what the suspicious Scott was doing, I don't know but have my doubts. As for whatever was in the boat being visible, you must know that it would in no way resemble a body being disposed of. It would be small and it would be camoflagued.

"Trials by jury are part of our political process"
True, but this one has NO political implications. This trail is no more important than hundreds of others going on around the country right now.
This is nothing but media hype, pushed by fools like Greta.

WRONG.
I don't pay any mind to the gossip and cannot stand Greta.
My interest lies in the Justice system and how it works. I have family in LE and this topic, CRIME AND CORRUPTION, has always intrigued me.
I don't know what you are basing your assumptions on but you sure are spending alot of time here with the obvious intent to disrupt....troll along now.

I could care less whether we have Scott threads, which I can view a little, or a lot. What I do care about is having to put up with this story every night on tv.
My guess is that it will be a hung jury and they will re-try him for the next 2-3 years. Yuck. Greta Van Peterson will beat this dog til the neverending end. I still don't understand why this story has the legs it has.

So you think that the folks who follow this stupid trial day in and day out and get all worked up over it are intelligent?

Don't get all hot and bothered, Jackie, I merely expressed a wish, I did not tell any longtime FReepers how to behave in this forum.
It looks like this is going to be a hung case, so you will be able to gossip about for a long time yet.

If you listened to Justin Falconer on LKL last night, you'd come away convinced the Jury is favoring an acquital and the hold outs are voting for guilty.
Why do they keep having this idiot on?!
