Would YOU try to smuggle weapons across dangerous borders when there are MUCH easier methods to use. Another factor which has generally been ignored is that in order to get into the US from Mexico you have to get to Mexico.

When we stop the easy way they will look for the next easiest way. Mexico has a lot of Armed revolutionary groups and corrupt elements that potentially could help them. For years drug smugglers and human smugglers have established a network to get narcotics and people across the border. Al Qaeda could form alliances with those groups.

They could provide terrorists with fake ids, green cards and place these sleeper agents in menial jobs. Then they would acclimatize to American culture so they could function in our society and not stand out like sore thumbs as the 9/11 hijackers did.

Whereupon they will find other routes into the United States.

You seemed to be resigned to lose your country. What do you have, a framing business? Lawn care? Merry Maids Franchise?

You can put hundreds of thousands of troops on our borders and it would have NO impact on protecting us from terrorists

Why do you think Israel is doing it. Do you think they're stupid?

Mexicans desperate to feed their families are not a threat to us.

Yes they are. If they get voter registration cards and elect politicians like Bustamante who was a member of MEChA, an organization that wants to reclaim the American Southwest and rid it of non-Hispanics, then, yes, they are a threat to us.

No, but preventing unacceptable numbers of illegal aliens from entering the United States, by force alone, is not an option, unless you're prepared to live in a garrison state like East Germany.

Think (if you are indeed able to do so) outside the box.

What do you have, a framing business? Lawn care? Merry Maids Franchise?

And the inevitable ad hominem. I shall return the favor...

What do you have, an inability to achieve sexual gratification without watching snuff videos?

Yes yes, but think of how hard it would be for Al Qaeda to infiltrate into Mexican drug gangs, where corrupt Mexican officials and LEOs can be bribed with 3rd rate prostitutes and a six pack. Close to impossible I'd say.

:o

Why isn't it an option? Doesn't a country have the right to use force to control its borders?

It's just the reverse. If we allow people into the country who elect politicians like Bustamante who was a member of MEChA, an organization that wants to reclaim the American Southwest and rid it of non-Hispanics, then, yes, we will be soon be living in a garrison state.

Did you read the qualifier I put in there, or did that overstrain your neuron?

So what are you saying, as long as we also put up a sign that says, "Keep Out", we can also use force?

Whatever.

Who makes these rules?

Bustamante is one of the biggest racist in California, Art Torres is another one. These people reek.

What are we going to do when people like them actually take over the state of California and they build a mass transit system directly across the border? Can a state be ejected from the Union?

Those are federal borders, and the federal government completely failed in it's job to secure our borders, from Cal, all they way through Texas. May California could secede and guard it's own borders. Seems to me, any state could do a better job.

Of course at the rate we are being invaded, from Alaska to Atlanta, they may just rename the entire country, Meximerica.

I know a lot of local government in California is soft on immigration but what about the state government. What about Arnold? He originally seemed to be kind of pussyfooting around the illegal issue. The only politician I know of in the Southwest who takes a stand on it is Tom Tancredo in Colorado. Last night I watched NM gov Bill Richardson spew a bunch of mush about how we need immigration reform (amnesty). I think you're right. I'd like to see a constitutional amendment that allows states to secede and also allows states to be ejected.

At this rate, by 08 he should be able to run, and win.

Such a ironic symmetry in those two statements of yours.

Oh yes. Now I get it. Using the word "Mexican" in less than a positive light is racist. What a sensitive guy.

I'll bet he could. Especially against Hillary or after four years of Kerry.

This country needs another Ronald Reagan
