After being inundated with calls from L.A. listeners, Asa Hutchinson has agreed to go on the show. He's on right now, so be there or be square. Will try to type the good stuff while I listen.
Censorship? On a forum like this?
Don't like it? Take it up with Jim Robinson.
The reason why I care about what Asa had to say was that there's HOPE for him and this administration to understand our state's problems with immigration enforcement. There's no hope for Boxer to understand, she's an unashamed extreme lefty on so many issues, that she wears our disdain as a badge of courage for her supporters
I understand, some think that John and Ken are preaching to the choir, they are actually attacking the choir, IMO.
JMO, they would do a much better service if they attacked the political adversaries who hide in the background laughing their arses off, Baca/Feinstein/Boxer.
I seem to remember sweeps in the 1980s.
This was the guy that was the driving force in immigration enforement. I seem to remember that he was pretty darn good in relative terms.
It was "Howard Ezell, former Western regional commissioner of the Immigration and Naturalization Service"
The guy was reviled amongst those who didn't want enforcement.
In case you havn't noticed, there are more than a few viable ideas floating around here (FR) as to how to remedy this problem.
The tests that Gub-mint has been doing recently regarding the use of Predator type drones as well as helium balloons have proven both highly sucessful as well as cost effective way to surveil large tracts of land.
My answer was actually one small piece to the puzzle. We could set standards to the TSA and privatize it......I could go on and on.
Obviously you don't even care enough about this problem to do a little leg work here on FR and read up on it. You'd much rather just kick back and blow everyone else out of the water. To each his own, I suppose........
Keep whining and doing nothing....by all means, but please stay out of the way while doing so.
Which were roughly akin to trying to sweep sand off of your front porch in the middle of a "100-year" sandstorm.
Surveillance is fine.
But drones and balloons do not make apprehensions. And that is where the problems come in.
However, Luis Gonzalez has made a cogent observation about the real root of this problem. Search by title for "Ants."
More than enough to secure our borders.
You don't have any idea what you're talking about.
LOL!
They don't even know you exist. You are not even a mosquito (which might carry West Nile virus) but a gnat, a "no see um", maybe even a dust mite.
Wow, I'll just go cower in the corner after your omnipotent proclamation. (/sarcasm)
That was one of the best interviews I've ever heard.
Hi Dane!
What state do you live in?
More than enough to secure our borders.
Oh, really?
OK, let's see your CONOPS. Show us how it's done, oh mighty expert in border security!
I'll take it up with you.
If you don't want to discuss illegal immigration and what Asa said to John and Ken, like you asked, "What are you doing here?"
Are you lost?
LOL!
Read the thread, before you make uninformed statements.
In California, the issue registers with a HELL of a lot of people.
Wait until more and more states deal with spending billions of dollars on these people. Then they'll understand, only I wish it wouldn't come to that point.
If you were a daily listener, you'd know they do just that from time to time.
Besides, Feinstein and Boxer are not in command of the federal government. Bush is. They're not right-wing kiss asses like Limbaugh who worship Republicans and despise Democrats, to the exclusion of all others.
I am here because YOU replied to a post I made to DANE.
Did you forget?
Am I mistaken, or did I read where these very same people are against the police checking up on illegal aliens, but now they want UPS and USPS to do it?
According to you, an agency would have to hire 750,000 employees to put 25,000 of them on the borders, each shift, 24/7.
I think you better stay away from the CONOPS for awhile.
LOL!
Precisely. Hewitt & Medved, more right-wing kiss ass radio.
I've never heard them rightly rip into someone on "their side".
