After being inundated with calls from L.A. listeners, Asa Hutchinson has agreed to go on the show. He's on right now, so be there or be square. Will try to type the good stuff while I listen.
Phoenix
Police Officer Robert Sitek was shot four times 4/12/03 during a traffic stop altercation with an illegal alien that became violent. Sitek and his partner David Thwing were on routine patrol when a red truck cut off their squad car, and when the officers stopped the truck the driver began shooting. Officer Sitek was in cardiac arrest by the time he reached the hospital and lost a considerable amount of blood.
Blame it on Boxer, blame it on California
Am I wrong or was this sweep something that the Bush administration actually initiated in the first place?
They are replaying it now.
Ah, no. ;-)
Yet another Police Officer in Phoenix
Marc Atkinson was just 28 when he was shot and killed in a 1999 ambush by an illegal alien from Mexico. Officer Atkinson was a five-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Force, and was survived by his wife Karen, infant son and two siblings. The killer, Felipe Petrona-Cabanas, had around a pound of cocaine in his car when apprehended with two other Mexican nationals.

Poor, poor Dane. All you can do is blather about Feinstein and Boxer. You're really getting desperate now, and it shows. Oh, no! Something might actually be done about your beloved illegal immigration! America might not be destroyed after all! You might not get your dearest wish...that of open borders and millions upon millions of illegals continuing to flood in! You might even be deported yourself if you're illegal (which I strongly suspect you are) or you may not be able to continue to profit from illegal immigration anymore! You're starting to panic. I picture you at your computer, sweating, desperately trying to change the subject to Feinstein and Boxer, trying to convince everyone that there's nothing that can or should be done about illegal immigration, so you can continue to have your way. Poor Dane. Things like today's John and Ken show must be so upsetting for you!
The fact is, our border with Mexico is the number one problem confronting this nation with regard to illegal border crossings. Further, those border crossings are not limited to Mexican citizens. Middle-eastern, Chinese, south-American, European and other groups have been identified coming across our southern border. And as such, we should enforce the worst of the worst when it come to our border problems. At least one individual has been documented coming across our southern border, traveling to Chicago, and doing his best to become connected to other like minded individuals in order to carry out a terrorist act on U.S. soil.

He may very well have been ordered. Regardless, someone, somewhere long the line made a decision to shut this BP down. And this shut down was not only unnecessary, but completely flies in the face of the fedgov's responsibility to secure our borders. It is disgraceful and inexcuseable.
Oh yeah, I'm sure none of those border jumpers have anything to do the election fraud that helps keep Feinstein and Boxer in office. But lets shut down the BP and bitch about the crappy senators in CA.
Asa and Ridge should both be sacked!

Christina Long's body was found face down in a creek in Greenwich, Connecticut, after she was killed by asphyxiation during rough sex. Christina, aged 13, met her killer, Saul Dos Reis, through the internet in a chat room, an aspect of the case which has gotten it a lot of media attention, unlike the criminal's immigration status. Dos Reis attempted to give himself an alibi by emailing the girl and apologizing for not meeting her the night of the death. In fact, he strangled the sixth-grader and then dumped the body not far from his home. The killer is an illegal alien from Brazil.
Blame it on Boxer, blame it on California....
No, it's saying that if all you're going to do to secure your house is to lock the front door, and you're going to leave the windows and back door propped open, you haven't achieved your stated goal. You haven't even come close.
The fact is, our border with Mexico is the number one problem confronting this nation with regard to illegal border crossings. Further, those border crossings are not limited to Mexican citizens. Middle-eastern, Chinese, south-American, European and other groups have been identified coming across our southern border.
And many of those Middle Easterners will simply come across the wide-open Canadian border, or come in "over the beach."
At least one individual has been documented coming across our southern border, traveling to Chicago, and doing his best to become connected to other like minded individuals in order to carry out a terrorist act on U.S. soil.
If it's who I'm thinking of, he actually came into the United States at O'Hare International Airport on a flight from Switzerland.
The rest of the US frontier is 17,800 miles, and it's far less secured than the Mexican border is.
You are spending an incredible amount of energy to excuse Boxer of any and all responsibility for this problem.
Have they ever addressed this issue? It seems to me that the people of California are either supportive of or indifferent to illegal immigration by their choice of representation.
Thank you for your effort, Joe. Please post the written transcript here on Free Republic. (BTW, it's possible that their website may provide a link to the written transcript.)
I certainly lean your direction regarding sacking Hutchison, but let's face it, as long as the directives from the top remain the same, nothing will change no matter who they put in.
Article Four Section Four of the Constitution of the United States of America states that the President 'must' protect the states from invasion. As such our current president is failing his oath of office.
Once again, we find ourselves in a no-win situation at election time. Our choices are dumb or dumberer, with regard to this issue and others.
It is true that Boxer and Feinstein have sworn an oath to that same constituion, but where does the buck stop, with them? Is that the case we wish to make as conservatives?
I will vote for Bush this fall, but I'm going to be honest about this and other issues when they come up. Even those who claim to be on our side are failing us, pure and simple.
Only when one of their campaign donors has an INS problem; then they raise hell with the INS.
It seems to me that the people of California are either supportive of or indifferent to illegal immigration by their choice of representation.
You broke-a da code!
