I've fileted ( is that a word) about 6 or so table cloths and a bed spread. I like to work with the size 20 thread. I used to be able to buy it in a loose hank and Woolworths but nobody has it any more.
I tried to find the company on the internet and I don't guess it exists any more.
I can only find the 500 yard spools and it doesn't please me but I make do.
Wasn't it Lilly's who used to sell it by the hank? DNC makes a nice pull skein, but I haven't looked lately to see what size it is...I knit fine cottons to do edgings...
