I've noticed. Adults never seem bothered by beets, kraut, and other yummy stuff like that.

I like spinach IF it's diced and sauteed in butter.
*shrugs*
I'm rather picky about that too.

Brussel sprouts are liked well enough, but CORN is fought over in my family.
Sauer Kraut isn't sauer kraut if it wasn't made the way great-grandma made it though.
(heated family discussions on that one!)

Ugh! Beets are a horror. Not as bad as bell peppers but still I would have to be coming off a three day fast before I would take a beet.

I would take the beet, stick it in a sock and then use it to club some innocent woodland creature for stew. You didn't think I would actually eat a beet did you?
