After finding a church that claimed to preach the truth and then finding out that there were witches that showed more Godliness than they did, I was rather disheartened.
Same here. I'm almost a Deist. I've rejected organized religion, but cannot seem to let go of the idea of continuance after death (conservation of information Physics) or of higher states of being(multi-dimensionalism and super-universal phenomena). Ergo, I needed to find a comfortable set of "symbols" to use to help me deal with these unknown quantities. Enter my quest apparently stalled out at Norse Heathanism.
I try to live my life on the positive side. If the Jews/Christians are right and JHVH is the One True Lord, then I'll accept my punishment. Until then, I prefer to live a good, full, life.
