"To be totally honest and NOT joking with you here, I am very upset reading on another thread that the leaders in Iraq are fleeing the fight again and are NOT being stopped by anyone.
This means the leaders (like a cancer) will go to the next city, get the fanatic stupid people all going to again fight.
So why are we not circling this battle and filtering whose leaving this battle?
Why allow the enemy leave to fight another day.
I really want the least harm for our military and this plan of letting people leave is going to cause people to die over and over.
It's like a time-out to reload. I don't get why we are letting bad guy leaders leave.

Have you ever been in the military? Even as "weekend warrior"?

Someone has to fight for YOUR right to to be a jerk on FR. It is obviously not you.
War is nasty, but it is how we remain free.
No argument about the good of war from me.
The issue I was pointing out that is bothering me is this...
#1 Threads are saying the military is allowing bad guy leaders to flee.
So I worry that with bad guys being allowed to just go...
#2 Bad guys go to another city, again get the fanatics all revved up and we get another different city fighting us.
So my concern in this current state are that we could be fighting the same bad guys in different places over and over and over and over again.
I would think these leaders would be killed systematically as they tried to leave if they did not get killed in battle already.
That is the problem. I like the war we are fighting and understand the sacrifice for freedom.
I want the places surrounded and not hear all the bad guy leaders are BEING ALLOWED TO LEAVE.
