A Message To Conservatives: "Your Silence About Rush Limbaugh Is Deafening."

A NOTE TO MY FELLOW CONSERVATIVES:
Your silence regarding Rush Limbaugh is excruciating.
I like Rush, too, and given that he and I have the same employer, I'm not exactly improving my career prospects by being consistent. It's a bad habit I picked up after years of listening to, and admiring, Rush Limbaugh.
And if we learned the lessons of Limbaugh (individual responsibility and the rule of law), how can we now agree to "Clintonize" ourselves defending him? A drug addiction is one thing, but blackmail? He's allowed himself to be blackmailed for years--the same years he was rightly pounding the stuffing out of the Clintons? And now he claims he's the victim of a politically-motivated prosecution?
What's next: "The b**** set me up?"
Of all the disappointing decisions Rush has made, these last two are the most disheartening. Consider for a moment what blackmail is: An admission that you know what you're doing is wrong.
The decision to fork over the cash is just that--a decision. It can't be any less difficult to make that decision than to decide to, say, go to your lawyer, spill your guts and spend a month in detox at Charter. So why not choose to do the RIGHT thing?
But that's not what Rush chose to do. He chose instead to continue, for years, to do the wrong thing and then--after he was caught--blame the consequences on the vast, left-wing conspiracy. As Rush himself said very wisely and correctly when Jim Carville made the same argument defending President O.J., "It doesn't matter what Ken Starr's politics are if you're innocent."
Bill Clinton wasn't an innocent victim of political vendettas. He was a perjurer and obstructer of justice who blamed others for his own lack of character and its consequences.
Which means, my fellow conservatives, that Rush Limbaugh is....?
I'm sorry, I can't seem to hear you. It must be that deafening silence again.

"Actually, he reminds me of the horse's ass HOLE."
I only thought him a horses ass myself, but you can carry it further if you want. Granted, the need to use a mirror for shaving might give you some level of expertise in such matters but I think he's just the common type horses ass.

Moron, how many times does it have to be explained to you? I'm not a libertarian and have never voted for one. I likely will never vote for one either. I'm a traditional conservative Republican who donates money to the RNC, is pro-life, pro-Judeo/Christian values, pro-tax cut, pro-military and pro-defense.
But hey, blanket accusations, ad hominem attacks, and obnoxious deflections are a good way of not actually having to debate.
Debate's a lot tougher than that.

Addicted?
Of course I am...I'm nothing without my Columbian coffee.

Nah, I pretty much think you're an ass hole.

Traditional until we get to that pesky ol' dope issue then you leave the reservation.

There you going taking the high road...you obviously think more of me then I do of you. Good for you.

Wow, so because of one issue that you disagree with, I'm no longer a conservative. That draws a big 'whatever' from me.

Would that be the same issue you use to claim I piss on the Constitution? LOL!

Doesn't matter to him. I'm a doper losertarian and that's all that matters. The concepts you know and cherish are foreign to him. Liberty and personal freedom are anathema to his ilk. It's all about "ORDERED liberty," with them giving the orders. Always has been, always will be. Until the day that Rule .303 is invoked.

I hope you understand that all he wants to do is get response. He will never answer a question. He will call you names. He has exhibited a gross disregard for intelligent discussion, but instead wants to call names, and belittle. It has all the symptoms, of a psychiatric condition.
I repeat, His previously avowed intent, on all of these threads, is to be a disrupter... He is trolling, just to get attention to himself, and to distract us, from the real issues. You will not get an answer from cwo. You will get a personal attack.
You will waste more of your life, if you post to him. If someone wants to engage in a discusion, spend your time wisely, and make a point, that can be discussed. CWO has none... just attacks, due to his bigotry.
I feel sorry for him, but don't want to have any more to do with him. He has a dubious definition of 'honor'. I believe he may have a few screws loose.
He is a most despicable representative of life, on FR, a troll!

Those Red Diaper babies forget where they are...even in Belle Meade people carry guns! lol
I also think there is a butcher shop in Cool Springs where you can get practically anything. I haven't been to it yet.
I hope you and your family had a great Christmas and you got your wife something nice. You obviously married well above your station! lol I know I did!

Rush didn't do conservatives any favors in this episode , but... it does point out some things I felt about the Clintons. When you do things you don't want to be public knowlege, you set yourself up for blackmail. In the case of Clinton it was a matter of national security. In the case of Rush it was a matter of personal embarassment. A huge difference. I also wouldn't buy a Clinton arguement of being addicted to BJ's from young chubby interns as even a lame excuse. Rush could have done a much better job of dealing with both his pain and the addiction it apparently caused. Even with the legal wranglings going on he has been more up front than our ex POTUS about the problem. If it had been the average person in either of the cases , it wouldn't be anything for law enforcement to even look into.

Yes, and you never did backup your claims to have active duty Marine pushers selling to you. But then again, who expected you would or could...your kind never do.
To: pageonetoo
Your freep-mails are even more pathetic then your posts...of course you don't need to back your claims up, even though you insisted you could, everyone knows you're lying anyway.
To: pageonetoo
But what they heck...you can always post to some more of your folks and try to get them to run interference for you.

Oh, this much is obvious from the way he would seek to silence even the most innocuous dissension with his point of view. But occasionally, I do enjoy wrestling with pigs such as he, if only for a little while...

LOL...as if you needed to post to "your folks" to get their attention, as much smoke and heat as this guy has generated to draw people to this thread (none of whom seem to be willing to defend his rantings, oddly enough).

LOL! Of course, unlike the throngs of people outside the pro-dope crowd who have jumped on the thread to defend you folks? Or all the non-dope people who have jumped on the thread to defend the jackass making up lies about the Marines?
Oh...that's right, we're on a dope thread in the smokey backroom. Not too many normal folks visit dope threads out front, and even less back here.
