At least 14 suspected al-Qaida militants in Yemen were killed in three drone attacks presumably conducted by the United States, security officials said. The attacks occurred Thursday, just one day after Yemeni officials said they stopped a major al-Qaida plot against oil pipelines and ports, the BBC reported Thursday. A drone attack killed four suspected militants in Wadi al-Jadd in the southern province of Hadramout.
