LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – A new sculpture in Polk County has people doing a double-take. It’s the annual sculpture exhibit in downtown Lakeland and one of those sculptures is getting mixed reviews. The leg lamp sculpture, called “I’ll Shoot Your Eye Out,” is based on the 1983 movie, “A Christmas Story,” and it certainly is raising a lot of eyebrows. “Well, you know, for a leg, it’s not bad,” said Glenn Zweygardt, as he stood in front of the sculpture.

Pig heads have been left on the entrance to a migrant camp in the Netherlands, in an effort by some to give the Muslim refugees a hellish nightmare welcome to one of Europe's most tolerant nations. Unidentified perpetrators left some 14 pig heads at the entrance of a refugee center in Eschmarkerveld, near the city of Enschede, on early Wednesday morning. Nine pigs' heads were found on the fence, the rest laid out on the ground. Plastic bags full of blood in which the heads have been transported were also found at the site.

Starting at 5 p.m. Eastern time today, Beck’s channel, The Blaze, will be channel 212 in Dish Network’s 14 million households. It will be included as part of a 250-channel package, or available as a premium channel, for $5 a month, to those who receive a more basic package. In sheer dollar terms, the deal is big but not gigantic for Beck’s company. Dish will reportedly pay a “small” per-subscriber carriage fee, which likely means 5 cents to 10 cents per month per household. In its first year, then, the agreement will yield subscription revenues of less than $16 million. That’s not...

...let us salute the victor of the last war: the all-powerful Zune! Last Friday, the people united for a spontaneous demonstration in the streets of Redmond to symbolically lay the iPhone to rest. That corrupt, degenerate device simply cannot withstand the unstoppable assault of the Microsoft Kin- er, that is, Windows Phone 7, just as the pathetic iPod fell beneath the boot of the glorious Zune!Even the lowly 4GB Zune and its 8GB cousin proved more than a match for its so-called competitors. On its 1.8” screen, we can see the vision of a new world in the making! Perhaps...

The fanatical Taliban mastermind behind recent attacks in which six British soldiers died in Afghanistan has been killed in a missile attack by an Army Apache helicopter. In what military chiefs described as a 'deliberate and surgical strike', the 35-year-old rebel leader - known as Sadiqullah - died alongside nine fellow Taliban fighters after the Apache fired two laser-guided Hellfire missiles at their red pick-up truck and destroyed it. The rebel leader had been tracked down after weeks of secret intelligence work. His death would have been instantaneous, as the warheads of the 5ft-long missiles, which travel at 950mph, are...
