The World Health Organization has issued its first-ever guidance for how much screen time children under 5 should get: not very much, and none at all for those under 1. The U.N. health agency said Wednesday that kids under 5 should not spend more than one hour watching screens every day — and that less is better. The guidelines are somewhat similar to advice from the American Academy of Pediatrics. That group recommends children younger than 18 months should avoid screens other than video chats. It says parents of young children under two should choose “high-quality programming” with educational value...

Constructed in 1163, the historical and cultural landmark first reached completion in 1345. The blaze, which happened during Holy Week before Easter, hit the Catholic community especially hard. But with 13 million visitors per year, the gothic wonder exemplifies how beauty – beauty dedicated to God – draws in all peoples, regardless...

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday said that it is unlikely Taiwan would be invited to attend this year’s World Health Assembly (WHA), in Geneva. “Friends of Taiwan”, have sent a letter on the subject to WHO, noticing, with the exception of one member state, none were opposed to Taiwan participation. We ask all diplomatic allies to send a proposal to the WHO’s secretariat, asking Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to re-consider. Taiwan has long participated in the WHA , but since 2017 MaoChina has bullied WHO, not to invite Taiwan, in line with Beijing’s hardline, after President Tsai Ing-wen took...

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang criticized the media Monday for its coverage of President Trump, saying that it has failed to explain his appeal. "I would say I think our media has done us a disservice by overly simplifying why Donald Trump is our president today,” Yang said at a rally in Chicago. Yang said that the media was wrong to blame Trump's election on racism, Russia, ignorance, immigration, Facebook, or the FBI, among other narratives. “The reason Donald Trump is our president today is we automated away 4 million manufacturing jobs,” he said. Polish Bishops Reject LGBT+ Declaration WARSAW, Poland (ChurchMilitant.com) - The Polish bishops are condemning a charter that claims to introduce protections for "LGBT rights" but instead proposes discrimination against those that are not supportive of it, pushing immoral and unchaste sexual education to children.
