The Science Museum in London has come under fire for an exhibit that apparently tells you whether your brain is male or female. The interactive 'Who Am I' exhibit features a series of questions. Your answers are displayed on a 'sex-o-meter' where an arrow either lands on blue (to represent a male brain) or pink (a female brain). More Talkers Headlines According to the test, men are better at "seeing things in three dimensions" and "being able to imagine how things rotate." Women fare better "in tests that involve: distinguishing between subtle hints and details" and "having a good visual...

Michelle Obama spoke about what she’ll miss the most when she and her family leave the White House during appearance on “Ellen” Tuesday. To help the first lady get used to normal life again, DeGeneres decided to take Obama down to a CVS in a clip aired Wednesday to make sure she still knows how to use coupons, turn coins into cash with Coinstar and, of course, push a shopping cart around. “You push the basket because nobody’s going to push it for you,” the comedian says before the pair begin their shopping adventure.

Man/Boy Love: Propaganda versus reality To explain man/boy love today, one must first explain what it is not: It is not what you view on television or read in newspapers. It’s not what you hear on Oprah or Geraldo, nor is it the propaganda put out by police and politicians. It’s the love of a man for a boy, and of a boy for a man. Enjoyable, consensual, beautiful.

Like countless other people, freelance photographer Rich McCormack of Jersey City snapped a photo of the Tribute in Light at the World Trade Center site last week. But unlike the others, McCormack captured something more than the beams of light reaching up into the night sky. Just what it is that the frequent contributor to The Jersey Journal captured in his image is open to interpretation. It looks like "a vision of the Lord (Jesus) with his arms folded," said McCormack, who took the photo Friday night, Sept. 9, from the Hoboken waterfront.

Maybe there is nothing much wrong with her and its just an act to get sympathy and insulate her from indictment. She now has plenty of very well staged evidentiary proof in media accounts. All she needs is a doctor note with a diagnosis of dementia or alzheimers to take care of the know or should have known right from wrong. After all she has been in public service her whole life and just wanted to help people and helping people costs a lot of money. She ought to be able to find a doctor willing to write her a...

For three years, Veloz Fior De Pichardo has lived with a mission to prove to the world she’s a woman. But that’s not what staff at Miami-Dade Corrections initially thought when Pichardo was booked on Nov. 4, 2013. They concluded Pichardo was a man and placed her with the male population where she stayed for almost 24 hours before they realized the mistake. “I’m a woman,” said Pichardo. “I have three children.” Pichardo is now breaking her silence from her home in the Dominican Republic where she lives and works as an attorney and political leader. She was surrounded by...

NORWALK, OH (WOIO) - A bizarre case out of Huron County has detectives looking for the person who belonged to a heart discovered in a field on Milan Avenue in Norwalk. All the Norwalk police department has right now is a heart in a Ziploc bag. They're hoping to determine if it's human, and where it came from. "This is pretty unusual. We have no idea where it came from," said Sgt. Jim Fulton, with Norwalk Police Department. In late August, a North Central EMS crew idling at the Friendship Store on Milan Avenue came across the heart. Fulton said...

Friendship is unlikely to blossom in one university dorm room this semester after one of its occupants sent an aggressive list of demands to her roommates before even meeting them. The message, sent by a UCLA freshman known only as Ashly, was shared by one of its two recipients on Twitter in a post which has now been seen by thousands. One of Ashly's new roommates, 17-year-old Winnie Chen, an aspiring make-up artist from Los Angeles, took to the social media site after being left in total shock by the email which, she says, was sent because Ashly's earlier messages...

A 70-year-old man in Times Square got more than a dressing down when a nude performer accused him of snapping her photo while she was on a meal break — she doused him with coffee and punched him in the eye, police sources said. The painted naked lady ran off after the Saturday attack, but another nude performer, or desnuda, Tarrah Merill, 18, was charged with felony assault against a person 65 or older because she jumped into the fray and attacked the victim, sources said.

Several weeks ago the police arrived at our home in the middle of the day and informed us that a 911 call had originated from our residence. I was not home at the time, but my spouse, her friend, and some of my children were. Law enforcement was kindly informed that all was okay, and they moved on. When I heard of this, the first thought was that my little grandson perhaps dialed the number inadvertently. He's a curious little guy who knows how to climb up, grab a phone, and start pushing buttons. Since it was entirely possible he...

You would think with all the cell phones around, and also the constant presence of the press pool, that someone would have filmed her as she left the ceremony and walked to where she waited for her ride. It would be interesting to see that footage. Has anybody seen anything? (Not the video of where she standing by the concrete post waiting for the van, but video of her walking from the memorial to the concrete post)

I don't normally post You Tube videos on Free Republic, but my buddy Scooter has outdone himself here. The video is only 18 seconds long, but I assure you, it's laugh-out-loud material, and MUCH-NEEDED levity for today.
