Firebrand Dutch far-right MP Geert Wilders says he will fly to London to join a 'free Tommy Robinson' protest this weekend because 'it is a disgrace he is still in jail'. Wilders, 54, who was banned from Britain in 2009 only to get it overturned, is heading to the UK after the EDL founder was jailed for 13 months ten days ago. Robinson was jailed after he pleaded guilty to contempt of court and breaching the terms of a suspended sentence he was handed last May for a similar offence. His supporters have gathered in huge numbers at a series...

From srdem65’s post 8/26/16 @ 3:36 pm EDT: “Friends, we need a happy day here. No war, no politics, nada. Hopefully no tragedies to worry about either. Photos of our babies - two legged and four legged. Some yummy treats we might make at home, some lovely drinks to make, and an exotic meal or two. Tales of happy times with the family, the children. I'm getting burned out and I bet you are too.” “So let it be written. So let it be done.”Since I’m not going to be around I don’t think it would be wise to open...

On the Lost Justice of the “Sabbath Rest†By: Msgr. Charles PopeSome of us who are older remember that Sundays were once quiet in downtown; in shopping areas, parking lots were empty. Most businesses were closed and few people had to work on Sundays. Surely there were exceptions, such as medical personnel, emergency workers, and those who ran essential services like power plants. But for most, Sunday was a day off. And although the biblical Sabbath was Saturday, in a largely Christian nation Sunday was the “Sabbath†day of rest.In those days, Church was in the morning and then it was...

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s push to get tough on illegal immigration has apparently cost him the support of ranchers. The Kansas Livestock Association has come out in support of Kobach’s Republican challenger Scott Morgan in the Aug. 5 primary. The group says Kobach strays beyond the traditional roles of secretary of state by taking up issues such as immigration and blocking federal environmental protections of the lesser prairie chicken.

Being a mom or dad is one of life's greatest joys. But early on weekend mornings? We're not always feeling the joy so much. In a series of Vine videos now going viral, one bleary-eyed dad captures the truth of Saturday mornings as a parent. Tony Serafini, a 38-year-old dad from Leominster, Mass., spends Saturday mornings alone with his 4-year-old daughter after his wife and eldest daughter leave for dance class. He started shooting a series of videos showing the little girl rocking out to her favorite music in the background, while dad blearily waits for his caffeine to kick...

The annual tax is levied for “United States health risks,” and is hidden from consumers since it is directly assessed on health insurance companies.David R. Burton, a senior fellow in economic policy at the Heritage Foundation, said the tax...

GLENN: I want to spend some time giving you knowledge on, you’re close to winning. In fact, you’re so close to winning, the left and the uber left doesn’t even know how to deal with it, and they’re getting very, very angry. I’ve lived in New York for, what, five years? I’ve seen ‑‑ I’ve seen New York. I’ve seen the ugly side of New York, I’ve seen the good side of New York, but I have not seen what I have seen in the last weekend. In fact, my wife said she’s never going to New York again. It...

Reid cancels Senate’s weekend sessionBy Josiah Ryan - 07/22/11 11:21 AM ET Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) canceled all weekend work for the Senate on Friday, saying it is no longer necessary. "It looked earlier this week like the Senate would have to originate legislation perhaps as soon as today to avoid default,” he said. "Circumstances have changed. The Speaker of the House and the president have been working to reach agreement on a major deficit-reduction measure.” Reid said that constitutionally, any such measure would have to originate in the House anyway, so there is little the Senate can...

The marriage proposal was apparently a rather romantic affair. On Christmas Eve, the couple watched a late-night movie together and then exchanged gifts: for him a framed photograph of their King Charles Spaniel, for her an engagement ring. ‘She burst into tears,’ he revealed on Twitter at the weekend. ‘This is the happiest Christmas in memory.’ ‘The most memorable Christmas ever,’ she tweeted in agreement. ‘I love him.’ All of which might be rather more touching if the prospective groom was not Playboy tycoon Hugh Hefner who, at 84, is 60 years older than his fiancée, a platinum blonde model...

It's the week-end... and frankly, I need an escape from all the bad news about Oil Spills, a rude, impudent former Beatle (time to call it quits, sir Paul), a President who's legacy will be measured in how much damage he caused, bad umpiring, a middle east in... well, you get the idea. So there I was trolling on youtube when I came upon some old friends of mine. And I thought to myself, "Here... HERE'S one thing that's still right in America: Real Music. I'm talking songs with lyrics and melodies that will still be around in 50 years...
