  • Climate Scientists: Arctic Blast 2, Linked to Climate Change, Expected to be ‘Less Worse.’

Ah, the Arctic Blast saga continues, and this time climate scientists are pointing fingers at climate change. The catch? Arctic Blast 2 is expected to be “less worse” than its predecessor. I guess we’re looking for silver linings in freezing temperatures now. Iowa is gearing up for some seriously chilly vibes, with temperatures plummeting more than 40°F below normal. Now, that’s a bone-chilling Saturday morning in the making. Actual temperatures hitting the -20s °F in Iowa – sounds like a scene from a winter thriller.

We received about 20 inches of snow this week. So …. 8:00 am: I made a snowman. 8:10 - A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn't make a snow woman. 8:15 - So, I made a snow woman. 8:17 - My feminist neighbor complained about the snow woman's voluptuous chest saying it objectified women everywhere. 8:20 - The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it should have been two snowmen instead. 8:22 - The transgender man / woman / person asked why I didn't just make one snow person with detachable parts. 8:25...

The rush to replace diesel buses with electric buses is not faring well in colder climates. The city of Skellefteå in Sweden has had to drastically cut short its electric bus service due to sub-zero temperatures. Marie Larsson, chief of the city's bus operations, explained, "at minus 40 degrees it is too cold for the electric buses. In hindsight its seems like we should've taken this factor into consideration before we invested so much time and money converting from diesel buses." In Minnesota, the cities of Duluth, Minneapolis and St. Paul are having similar problems. Metro Transit spokesperson Drew Kerr...

The narrative that climate change constitutes a dire threat to life is being challenged by science. Patrick Moore, chairman and chief scientist of Ecosense Environmental and co-founder of Greenpeace, contends that "the message of doom isn't based on facts. There is actually no scientific evidence that CO2 is responsible for climate change over the eons. The reality is that 150 million years ago CO2 was somewhere between 2,000 and 2,500 parts per million (ppm). Today, CO2 is around 420 ppm. CO2 is essential for the plant life that produces the oxygen that humans and animals need to live." John Christy,...

Gobsmackingly bananas temperatures, 76°F below mid-January norms, set the stage for an impending climate emergency. Updated information on the looming climate emergency reveals an Arctic blast sweeping across the Pacific Northwest, extending into the Central and Midwest USA over the next 5-10 days. Temperatures described as "gobsmackingly bananas" are plummeting to 76°F below mid-January climate norms.

A study from the United Kingdom Center for Ecology and Hydrology found that every human exhales nitrous oxide and 31% exhale methane. Those who did not exhale methane in their breath probably released the gas via burping and flatulence. Since both vegetarians' and meat-eaters' emissions are similar in magnitude, future diet changes are unlikely to offset these environmental pollutants. Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Tom Carper (D-Del) called these findings "disturbing. Every breath we take contributes to the degradation of our environment. We must do everything in our power to reduce our deleterious impact." The...

Europe is currently in the throes of the coldest weather it has experienced in two decades, with the United Kingdom being hit hard by plummeting temperatures. The Met Office has recently issued a fresh yellow weather warning for snow and ice, covering significant portions of the country. The areas expected to be most affected include the Midlands, Yorkshire, and north and central Wales. The Met Office predicts adverse conditions that could impact roads and railways, leading to longer journey times for those traveling by road, bus, and train.

A tropical depression to the west of Central America could be the next storm to strengthen quickly in the eastern Pacific before threatening land later this week. AccuWeather meteorologists are keeping their eyes on what was a tropical depression that developed in the western Caribbean and crossed over Central America earlier this week. The moisture associated with that system has now emerged in the eastern Pacific and may not only become the next named tropical storm of the 2023 season, but conditions could allow it to intensify rapidly, similar to Otis and Norma earlier this month. On Saturday afternoon, Tropical...

Fifty years ago, the nation was in the throes of what was then known as the Energy Crisis. This was not a crisis of supply; it was a crisis of government interference in markets. Today, the governments of the world are still meddling in markets; today, our own federal government is still guddling about in our energy supply infrastructure and markets while draining our country's reserves dry to try to cut a dime a gallon off skyrocketing gasoline prices. What has gone wrong is very clear to anyone who understands how markets work.Take a look at these words:“The oil industry...

Overall, the population in this region resides in structures that are vulnerable to earthquake shaking, though resistant structures exist. The predominant vulnerable building types are adobe block and unreinforced brick with mud and timber post construction. Recent earthquakes in this area have caused secondary hazards such as landslides that might have contributed to losses. The quake followed extremely damaging twin M6.3 earthquakes on October 7 in which more than 2 400 people lost their lives and more than 2 000 were injured. Some districts adjoining areas that had been completely flattened by earlier quakes had suffered huge losses, Herat’s governor’s...

The Biden administration announced on Friday new restrictions on gas-powered furnaces in order to curb carbon emissions and residential energy use. According to the Department of Energy, these regulations will cut household utility costs by $1.5 billion annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. "At the direction of Congress, DOE is continuing to review and finalize energy standards for household appliances, such as residential furnaces, to lower costs for working families by reducing energy use and slashing harmful pollutants in homes across the nation," Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in a statement. "Today’s measure, along with this Administration’s past and planned...

Fourteen American cities have agreed to ban meat, private vehicle ownership, and dairy consumption in order to save the planet from global warming. Phoenix, Arizona is one of the fourteen. Mayor Kate Gallego (D) described the climate situation as "dire. Just last month Governor Hobbs (D) declared a heat emergency when daytime temperatures hit 110 degrees. It's clear to me that the time to implement the kind of measures needed is now." "Though the goal of reducing greenhouse gases will require a dramatic change in our diets, we are not explicitly banning meat at this time," Gallego said. "There are,...

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has admitted that “climate crisis” prophecies of doom are a hoax. In a major U-turn, climate alarmist Gates backtracked and confessed that “global warming” does not have apocalyptic consequences. Gates reportedly told a group of his fellow globalist green agenda advocates that the “climate doom” narrative has now become so exaggerated that the public now sees right through the charade. The admission from Gates is a major shift for the billionaire who has been a leading proponent of the “climate emergency” narrative. For years, Gates has been championing the “Net Zero” goals of the unelected bureaucratic...

News is just a non-stop Psy-Op now Sydney is getting five warm days in a row and the Sydney Morning Horror is warning that it could be deadly. Even newspapers in Belgium think their readers need to know there’s a warm spring in Australia — 10 – 15 degrees above average. It’s not even a record. Not even “the hottest in history” — just by golly, a bit warmer than a similar September heatwave, you know, nine years ago. It was 35.6 degrees in September 2000 — so after 23 years of global warming, it’s not even hotter. Driving a...

Hecker is former Navy and defense contractor for Raytheon. While working at the South Pole Eric witnessed some stunning things, including directed energy weapons and other technologies that can trigger earthquakes. What he saw was illegal, off the books and unknown to Congress and many in the Pentagon.

In the wake of Hurricane Idalia’s landfall in Florida’s Big Bend near Keaton Beach on Wednesday, a local fire and rescue department has warned owners of electric-powered vehicles — including golf carts and scooters — that exposure to salt water can cause the vehicles’ batteries to catch fire. Palm Harbor Fire Rescue on Florida’s Gulf Coast issued the warning on Facebook Wednesday afternoon, telling owners to move their battery-powered vehicles out of their garages if they had come in contact with salt water, to prevent the fire spreading to the structure. The warning was apparently triggered by a fire in...
