Normally, I try to steer clear of putting opinion pieces into the first person, but the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing is enormously personal for me.  I was the kid in 5th Grade who dressed as Neil Armstrong in order to give a presentation of my report on Armstrong as one of the great “explorers†in world history. And I find it interesting that like the trashing of the legacy of those other great explorers by today’s progressives, the singular event of man’s achievement of landing on the moon is not spared the smearing of the world’s left....

BALTIMORE —The Baltimore City Police Department has launched an internal investigation after a WBAL-TV 11 News viewer shared four photographs of a sign inside a city police wagon. The photos show the doors of the parked police van left open. On the inside of the back door is a sign, attached or possibly stenciled on, that reads: "Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will!" The pictures were taken Tuesday near the Central District Police Station on Baltimore Street.

Baltimore NBC affiliate WBAL did a report Friday night about the attorneys of the six cops charged in the death of Freddie Gray wanting the court to either dismiss the case or recuse Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby over what they call ‘numerous’ conflict of interest charges.... ...but failed to mention the relationship between WBAL reporter Jayne Miller, who covered the story for the station in the heat of the riots, and deputy state’s attorney Janice Bledsoe.

On April 29th the Washington Post ran an explosive article highlighting information from a passenger who was inside the transport vehicle at the same time Freddie Gray was driven toward central booking. According to the Washington Post source: Freddie Gray was intentionally “trying to injure himself“. On April 30th local Baltimore media outlet WBAL-TV introduced Donta Allen, a person they claimed was the passenger in the transport vehicle. However, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON. Our research indicates the office of Baltimore State Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, used or allowed one of her deputy State Attorneys, Janice Bledsoe (who was in...

Catholic Review File Photo There were countless angles a journalist could have taken in writing a preview story about Pope John Paul II’s historic visit to Baltimore in 1995. Christopher Gaul, then the senior writer at the Catholic Review who later became the newspaper’s managing editor, decided to examine what others ignored: the source of the 80,000 Communion hosts that would be consecrated during the Oct. 8 papal Mass at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Gaul traced the story all the way back to a Kansas wheat field, where grains were harvested and shipped by railcar to New Jersey to...

Wanda Draper, director of public affairs for the NBC affiliate, confirmed Tuesday afternoon that technology reporter John Sanders no longer is employed by the station. According to accounts published on the Internet, Sanders admitted inserting a graphic phrase into a video to make it appear that John Gibson of Fox News was denigrating U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. In the faked video, which appeared first on YouTube and later on The Huffington...

Bruce Elliott brings to the WBAL Radio microphone the experience he has gained from more than 35 years in broadcasting. Whether it's national politics, or family issues, Bruce entertains and informs his audience, and he encourages listeners to actively participate in the show. Bruce says, "I view myself as a conservative who welcomes opposing viewpoints. However, over the past decade, there has been a change in the rhetoric employed by the left, and that has made a genuine exchange of perspectives and ideas across political lines much more difficult. It’s not easy to talk with someone who instinctively resorts...

A self-described political hit man told his side to the WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team Wednesday. Earlier in the year, the work of Joe Steffen sparked an investigation into Gov.
