BALTIMORE The Baltimore City Police Department has launched an internal investigation after a WBAL-TV 11 News viewer shared four photographs of a sign inside a city police wagon.
The photos show the doors of the parked police van left open. On the inside of the back door is a sign, attached or possibly stenciled on, that reads: "Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will!"
The pictures were taken Tuesday near the Central District Police Station on Baltimore Street.

Can we leave cell doors open too? Because I’d hate to upset a criminal or violate their sense of self esteem.
At least it’s not a Centerfold.
Can’t offend criminals now, When is this madness ever going to stop?
It’s not. Some days I think Satan truly is in control.
So what? Let’s get offended at every little thing now.
Another titbit from the society of the perpetually offended.
Leni
Seems like they are being nice and they also tell them they like their work.
Only thing that would make it better is to ask if the occupants want donuts and coffee at their destination, to fill out a request form....
It seems the only people who should and are allowed to be offended are Christians and the right wing. Oh and white straight , Christian males especially.
I thought maybe every paddy wagon in the country had those messages in them, if not they should be. It’s a place no one should end up in.
Yep!
Hope it wasn’t in cursive.
Cowboy-ism will demolish a good police force.
That sign is no random thought. Baltimore police have a history of giving prisoners “nickel rides” in police vans. And that is something that professional police offers should not be doing, period. If you think otherwise, then don’t complain if some cop shoots your dog, or muscles you a little bit, just because he can.
Cops are supposed to act like professionals, and most do. Putting that childish sign in the police wagon makes cops look bad, and gives the cop haters more ammunition. Whoever did it is stupid, and wrong.
With their past history of giving “nickel “ rides the sign should never have been. Not just poor taste but evidence of attitude
I interpret this to read it is a recent find.
If so, what kind of MORONS would leave ammo like that just lying around AND, OTOH, funny nary a former ‘fare’ has mentioned the signs... I kind of think that in view of what took place had I ever been in such a transport, I would have mentioned the signs???
My non conspiracy side smells a set up here....
Over beers he admitted a few things:
1) "we" (meaning the cops) are the only thing separating them (Compton thugs) from coming into your town (Long Beach) and f'n you up.
2) Often we know someone is guilty, we just don't have a case for the DA. Our job is to then make their life a living hell for the 48 hours we can hold em.
Don't like it? see number one.
I wonder who took the picture?
