Satisfied with IAM systems after a six-team trial last season, the U.S. National Football League appears ready to go league-wide with biometric ID verification. The pilot came at the end of 3.5 years of digital IAM testing by the NFL. No sports leagues like to lose money when people get unpaid-for stadium access, but NFL owners are particularly upset by it compared to others. League owners are expected to set up a centralized facial recognition IAM service based on its Express Access authentication platform in the 2024 season. That would be for all 30 stadiums for the 32 teams, beginning...

In 2022, Congress changed the electoral count act, moving up the deadline by which one of the final steps in the election process must be completed – the transmission of the certificate of ascertainment of who won a state’s presidential electors to Congress. Early that year, then-Senator Ugenti-Rita introduced a bill to expand the threshold to trigger a 100% machine recount to from one tenth of one percent to half a percent, a bill that would have applied to the 2020 presidential election had it then been the law. Though legal experts say that it is questionable whether Congress itself...

With Kari Lake's legal complaint alleging systematic signature verification failures in Maricopa County remanded by the Arizona Supreme Court to trial court, closer examination of the signature verification software used by the county reveals a strikingly low threshold for signatures to qualify as "high-confidence" matches. Since falling about 17,000 votes short in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election to Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs, Lake has continued to contest the election results in court, arguing that there were ballot chain of custody and signature verification issues in addition to thousands of Republican voters disproportionately disenfranchised on Election Day, when voting machine errors...

Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) said that Elon Musk still has not replied to his request for transparency into Twitter’s verification process, after the senator allowed a Washington Post reporter to impersonate him using Twitter Blue. Markey sent Musk a letter on Nov. 11 asking the new Twitter owner to explain how the company would combat impersonation accounts. “I said to Mr. Musk that he had to have a system that guaranteed that when someone was speaking that it was that person,” Markey said at a Hill event on Friday. “He has not yet sent back to me what the solution...

Can you hear the loud whine emanating from the coasts? That chorus of dweebs comprises elite newspaper reporters, columnists and so-called influencers who have just heard the news that Elon Musk, the uber-rich new owner and CEO of Twitter, might begin charging $19.99 a month to retain “verification” on his dumb social media platform. Their moans are music to my ears! According to a positively symphonic report from the Verge, Musk is gung-ho on shaking up the entire screwed-up system. “The whole verification process is being revamped right now,” he tweeted. Play on, Elon! Play on! What Maestro Musk is...

Whether Colorado election fraud is a real problem or not will remain unknown, as the state’s George Soros-backed SecState will permanently ban Arizona-style third-party audits. Colorado Politics reported on Friday that Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold “is permanently adopting the emergency rules rolled out earlier this summer to block future efforts at an Arizona-style ‘forensic audit’ conducted by a third party.” How’s that for restoring people’s faith in election integrity? ... Griswold, a former Barack Obama activist, is one of many Democrats throughout the state receiving generous financial backing from the George Soros family. ... Colorado switched to all-mail-in...

I just got a text message that said 'please text me' .It was from the same area code as my phone with the first 3 numbers the same as mine as well, a tactic often used by scammers. I sent nothing back, but only because I don't know the automatic feedback for a non existent number.

U.S.—A Trump spokesman has recently announced that Trump will soon be returning to social media with his own platform. This new "trumped-up" social media site is expected to completely change the game and will feature an all-new look and experience for users. “We are removing the lame verification badges and replacing them with ‘People Who Aren’t Losers And Total Disasters’ badges,” Trump announced during a recent press release. “Before, anybody could get one, total losers got verified on Twitter, but not anymore. Now only the very best people will receive badges on my platform.” “Frankly, this site is tremendous, maybe...

Why do signature checks always move the electorate further to the GOP? Three months after the November general election one congressional seat in New York has still not been certified after the state supreme court justice Scott DelConte ruled that dozens of votes were invalid. Some of the biggest batches the court invalidated: 128 ballots from voters who voted in the right election district but wrong polling place, in addition to 20 ballots cast in the wrong county. 85 ballots from voters who were listed in the state voter database as “purged.” 51 ballots from voters who dropped their absentee...

“If a criminal doesn’t admit he committed voter fraud, Clark County is unlikely to find out about it,” Joecks wrote.WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — “Clark County election officials accepted my signature on eight ballot return envelopes during the general election. It’s more evidence that signature verification is a flawed security measure,” wrote Las Vegas Review-Journal's columnist Victor Joecks, saying the assurances from elections officials that the process was secure were just puffery. “County officials aren’t working proactively to determine whether unscrupulous actors abused this vulnerability in a widespread fashion,” Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria told Joecks.Joecks conducted his own...

Earlier this week former Nevada state Attorney General Adam Laxalt told reporters the signature verification system in Nevada during the counting of ballots was essentially turned off. This was on purpose. Former Attorney General of #Nevada @AdamLaxalt: No humans verified any machine signature matches in Nevada pic.twitter.com/hGaX4s2edU— Team Trump (Text VOTE to 88022) (@TeamTrump) November 8, 2020 Democrats needed to confirm thousands of votes as valid so they basically turned off the system that would verify hand signatures. The Epoch Times wrote about this earlier this week. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said...

A criminal referral from top Senate investigators confirms explosive charges in last week’s House Intelligence Committee memo regarding abuse of surveillance authorities at the FBI and Department of Justice. It also reveals a host of problems arising from the bureau’s cooperation with foreign investigator Christopher Steele, who was working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. The eight-page memo from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Crime and Terrorism Subcommittee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) includes underlying evidence to support the claims.“It appears the FBI relied on admittedly uncorroborated information, funded by and obtained for Secretary Clinton’s presidential campaign,...

Received a fake Treasury check in the mail today with no letter or anything to indicate as to why it was sent. Didn't put my name correctly per the government records (missed a little tidbit I won't mention here). When people cash these checks, the check is returned to whoever sent it per the routing info with your endorsement signature and your account number. Don't fall for it. Micro printing on the endorsement line, but not on the edge of Liberty's garment. Biggest warning sign of all is that I haven't filed my taxes yet and have no reason to...

U.S. Election Comm. Quietly Lets States Verify U.S. CitizenshipRecognizing that voter identification is not sufficient, the government agency created by Congress to oversee the administration of elections has quietly reversed itself to allow states to verify U.S. citizenship before permitting voters to register. It's a crucial issue that's left the voter ID argument in the dust considering it's been proven that identification measures aren't enough to keep illegal immigrants from voting in U.S. elections. Regardless, liberals and Democrats in Congress assert that requiring voters to provide a government-issued ID to vote discriminates against minorities because they are either too...

The FR Mods WON'T let me post a link to a web site that has a thread concerning this - but its name rhymes with DU. I have been trolling the site recently to see their reactions to the recent ACA debacle - as you can guess, their are ALL ecstatic over it, EXCEPT for one current post. They are REALLY upset about the MANDATORY use of credit in order to be verified by the ACA. You may want to read it, it MIGHT concern you too ...

The final deal to avert a breach of the debt limit and end the government shutdown included what has been described as a “small concession” to Republicans: tightening the income verification measures for customers on the Obamacare insurance exchanges to qualify for subsidies. But considering the hurdles associated with this step – and the enormous IT problems we’ve already seen with the exchanges – the concession may not be small at all. As one prominent health care expert tells Salon, the impact could contribute to an attempted sabotage of the law by those who want to see it repealed. Rather...

What the Hawaii AG forced Bennett to do to his request for verification: 1. Withdraw the whole form he submitted. Because the form had no special directions, HRS 338-14.3 would require the HDOH to verify the accurate, legally-probative facts, and HI can't do that for Obama because his birth record is late and amended - and thus not legally probative as per HRS 338-17. 2. Keep the request for verification that asked the HDOH to verify what is on Obama's birth record. The HDOH can do that without claiming that any of those CLAIMS on the BC are actuallly accurate...
