An Imam has told his congregation in Wales that war is approaching and Islam allows them to take women as slaves and rape them. Ali Hammuda is an Imam at Cardiff’s Al-Manar Mosque, where three Islamic State (IS) fighters worshipped before travelling to Syria. They were known as the “Cardiff jihadis” before one was killed in an RAF drone strike as he was thought to be plotting attacks in the UK. Before the strike, Reyaad Khan and Nasser Muthana, then both 20, appeared in an IS recruiting video in 2014 where they bragged about executing prisoners. Muthana’s younger brother Aseel,...

A new exhibition marking 300 years since the birth of canal pioneer James Brindley has opened. How did his work transform the English landscape and unlock a new era in the Industrial Revolution? When James Brindley sought Parliament's backing for his plan for an aqueduct over the River Irwell in Lancashire, he apparently employed a novel means of gaining their attention. Taking out a block of Cheshire cheese, the man who engineered England's first canal carved out a model of the waterway he hoped to build. "It's not clear if he cut it into pieces and put it in water...

By my estimate, only three politicians have made a genuine, enduring difference to Britain in the past 50 years. Perhaps it’s not surprising that they have very contrasting characteristics. First, there was Roy Jenkins, Labour’s Home Secretary in the Sixties. He was regarded as the father of the Permissive Society — legalising homosexuality, abolishing hanging, ending censorship, reforming abortion and divorce laws. Then there was Edward Heath, the Tory prime minister in the Seventies who negotiated Britain’s entry into the nascent European Union (then misleadingly known as the Common Market). Heath was a disagreeable man and failed in countless areas,...

A MUSLIM cleric from a Cardiff mosque where three British jihadis are believed to have been radicalised has told young worshippers it is “permissible” to keep sex slaves Ali Hammuda is an Imam at the Al-Manar mosque in the Welsh city, and has been at this post since Nasser Muthana and Reyyad Khan, then 20, and teenager Aseel Muthana left for Syria in 2014. Now the preacher has been secretly filmed telling a group of young Muslims it is acceptable to keep sex slaves and that the "end of days" is near.

A bloody outrage: The decorated Para facing prosecution 44 years after shooting dead an IRA killer - while the blood-soaked men of terror know they'll never face justice (thanks to Blair's squalid 'peace' deal) Soldier C faces prosecution for shooting the IRA commander Joe McCann The 65-year-old had been cleared of any wrong-doing over killing in 1972 Thought case is politically motivated and designed to appease IRA families Meanwhile, suspected IRA terrorists avoid prosecution due to Blair's deal Soldier C is a man who rarely shows emotion. Having served his country for 23 years in both the Parachute Regiment and...

Following the brutal murder of an elderly Catholic Priest in France, ISIS has publicly warned British Christian clergy and their congregants: you’re next. Police publicly warned Britain’s 5.4 million Christian church goers, pastors and clergy to be on alert as they are likely targets for ISIS. The Daily Mail reports that security has now been increased for Britain’s 47,000 churches in response to ISIS’s threat to target Christians and churches in major world cities. Roughly 5.4 million British citizens are church members.

Jihadi spent two months coaching our man on the orders of ISIS’s top recruiter AN ISIS jihadi recruited an undercover Sun reporter to carry out a lone wolf terrorist atrocity — targeting Big Ben, London Bridge or a major shopping centre. Abu Muslim Khurasani ordered our man to get the materials for a car bomb, saying: “Park somewhere busy with many people.”

A terrorist attack in the UK is "highly likely" following attacks in other parts of Europe, a five-judge tribunal has been told. Britain's intelligence agencies highlighted the seriousness of the threat as they defended themselves against accusations of engaging in the mass collection of communications data and UK citizens' personal information without proper legal safeguards being in place.

The Royal Navy is suffering a recruitment crisis when it comes to staffing Trident submarines - as young people are too addicted to Facebook to go off-tech for weeks at a time. Following a vote to renew the nuclear submarines which passed through Parliament last week, those serving say that a scheme designed to attract new blood has faltered. And a senior source says this is down to the fact that "you cannot Facebook your friends". Last month, the annual report from the Ministry of Defences’s internal watchdog, the Defence Nuclear Safety Regulator, warned of a shortfall of qualified engineers,...
  • Labour wanted mass immigration to make UK more multicultural, says former adviser

He said the final published version of the report promoted the labour market case for immigration but unpublished versions contained additional reasons, he said. He wrote: "Earlier drafts I saw also included a driving political purpose: that mass immigration was the way that the Government was going to make the UK truly multicultural. "I remember coming away from some discussions with the clear sense that the policy was intended – even if this wasn't its main purpose – to rub the Right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date." The "deliberate policy", from late 2000 until "at...

Two men have been jailed and two women have been given suspended sentences after rashers of bacon were tied to door handles at a Bristol mosque. During the incident on 17 January, the group shouted racial abuse at a member of the mosque and tied a St George's flag to the fence of the Jamia Mosque.

Newly appointed Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, meet in London to discuss the relationship between the UK and US. State government figures spearheading an effort to obtain documents from scientists and researchers who dissent from the Obama administration’s position on climate change are being asked, once again, to come clean about their relationships with environmental organizations. But this time around, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey have only two weeks to comply with a demand for information from a House committee that the two Democrats have resisted previously. That’s because the demand comes in the form of subpoenas issued Wednesday to Schneiderman, Healey, and eight environmental advocacy groups. The House Committee on Science,...

Incoming Prime Minister Theresa May has driven a stake through the heart of her predecessor David Cameron’s fluffy, faux-Conservative project by scrapping the Department of Energy And Climate Change (DECC). Established in 2008, DECC was a hangover from the Gordon Brown era of woeful misgovernance. Its first Secretary of State was future failed Labour leader candidate Ed Miliband whose only significant political achievement also happened to be one of the most expensive and pointless in British parliamentary history: the drafting of the truly disastrous Climate Change Act.

This technology can work both in the Earth's atmosphere and in space - which is crucial to space planes. ( scroll down for video explanation of technology)

After a tumultuous few weeks in British politics, Theresa May officially became Britain's prime minister on Wednesday. The day was full of tradition and pomp. Her predecessor, David Cameron, traveled to Buckingham Palace to formally tender his resignation to Queen Elizabeth II and announce May as his successor. The queen then met May at the palace, asked her if she can form a government and then formally asked her to do so. May became the 13th prime minister to air-kiss the hand of the queen, who is 90 years old. But aside from all the pageantry, there's some serious weight...
