A woman in her 60s has been killed and five other people injured in a knife attack in central London.
Police were called to reports of an armed man attacking people in Russell Square at 10.33pm on Wednesday.
A 19-year-old was arrested six minutes later at 10.39pm after a Taser was fired by one of the officers.
He is now under police guard in hospital.

They sanitized the name of the Radical Islamic Terrorist in the Paris priest slaying last week...at start used his Muslim name, then changed and called him by his French name, not his Muslim name..
London needs to start acting like Israel about terrorists attacks. In Israel, if someone does this, their home is bulldozed. At least that is my understanding. Of course, with a proud Muslim Mayor now foolishly elected, that ain’t ever going to happen.

This is all very mysterious. What could this attack possibly be about? After all, "murder" is such a serious charge and who would do such a thing in Merry Old England? It is such a peaceful place.
In other news, Commander Rowley will be on a course for a few weeks sensitivity training for suggesting terrorism could have been involved along with mental illness. Mayor Saddiq Khan will name his replacement shortly.
