Social media was buzzing on the night of August 11th when several people managed to snap photographs of what appeared to be an oval-shaped craft in the sky over Houston during stormy weather. Some of the images showed the object, which seemed to have a single point of light in its center, situated in the foreground with dark storm clouds looming menacingly behind it. The disc was pictured from several angles by different witnesses and seemed to change position in the air multiple times. "The more people who see it in different directions, the more likely we are to figure...

Movies and TV shows would have us believe aliens would look a bit like us, only with a big (bald) head, green skin, and crazy eyes. But we weren't satisfied with that old cliche. So we decided to ask sci-fi authors, science experts, and ET buffs what they think a real alien might look like.

If there really is a UFO conspiracy, it's surely the worst-kept secret in history. Roswell, Area 51, flashing lights, little green men, abductions – it's all been fed through the pop culture mill to the point of fatigue. Even the supposed enforcers of the secret, the "men in black", have their own movie franchise. But a new documentary, Mirage Men, unearths compelling evidence that UFO folklore was actually fabricated by the US government. Rather than covering up the existence of aliens, could it be that the real conspiracy has been persuading us to believe in them? Mirage Men's chief coup...

Looking for thoughts about the 'sudden' appearance of a cure for Ebola. I think our government has studied Ebola since it first appeared and is keeping it as a weaponized virus.

The unnamed woman called police after the “That’s So Raven” star, 26, showed up at her North Hollywood home and caused a disturbance on Monday night. In audio of the incident, a man police believe to be Brown can be heard shouting, “I’ll kill you, your mama, your daughter and everybody.” For his part, Brown claims that the woman has been stalking him and that he was only at the woman’s apartment so he could explain to her boyfriend that nothing untoward was going on between the two.

Enormous crater appears suddenly in part of Russia whose name translates as 'the end of the world' Teams of scientists are rushing east to fathom the cause of this unusual - and rare - geographical occurrence One especially outlandish theory talks about a UFO landing as a possible cause of this colossal chasm in the earth

“This humanitarian emergency requires, as a first urgent measure, these children be welcomed and protected.” “Many people forced to emigrate suffer, and often, die tragically; many of their rights are violated, they are obliged to separate from their families and, unfortunately, continue to be the subject of racist and xenophobic attitudes,” the Roman Pontiff stated in the July 15 message.

The great UFO wave (known at the time as a “flap” in early UFO-speak) occurred while I was at home between summer and fall quarters at Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, Georgia, about 50 miles north of the epicenter of initial UFO reports. *snip* The second night of the saucers saw silent, flashing, multicolored lights reported from Albany, Dawson, Camilla, Cordele, Leary, Pelham Ashburn, Vienna, Moultrie, Leesburg, Tifton, and Waycross... *snip* Later that night, at 2:25 a.m. Cordele police called their Macon counterparts and alerted them to a UFO that seemed to be flying in their direction. *snip* “We have...

Representatives of the international coalition No Patents on Seeds! from France, Germany and Spain have filed an opposition against a European patent held by Monsanto on conventionally bred tomatoes (EP1812575). The patent claims tomatoes with a natural resistance to a fungal disease called botrytis. The original tomatoes used for this patent came from the international gene bank in Gatersleben, Germany. It was already known that these plants had the desired resistance and they were simply crossed with other tomato plants. Monsanto then produced a cleverly worded patent in order to create the impression that genetic engineering had been used to...

FULL TITLE: Were aliens the source of UFOs spotted above Norway in the 1950s? No, says the CIA: ‘That was us’ The CIA has claimed responsibility for various UFO sightings in the 1950s They say lights over Norway can be attributed to their U-2 aircraft The plane began flying in secret from 1955 and remains in operation today It is capable of flying up to 70,000 feet, meaning it was much higher than conventional planes in the 50s and 60s This meant that, when some pilots saw sunlight glint off the planes above them, they reported them as UFOs as...

University of Queensland researchers say photons can move through time A simulation of two wormhole-travelling photons found they could interact This suggests, at the smallest scales, jumping through time is possible The experiment could solve some famous theories that 'prevent' time travel But whether this will be possible on a larger scale remains to be seen If a time traveller went back in time and stopped their own grandparents from meeting, would they prevent their own birth? That’s the crux of an infamous theory known as the 'grandfather paradox', which is often said to mean time travel is impossible -...

CAMP PENDLETON (CBSLA.com) — Did you see strange lights in the night sky? Our KCAL9 Street Team mobilized Wednesday night after receiving several reports of orange lights appearing various parts of southern Orange County. Viewer “Marilyn” sent KCAL9 video footage that apparently showed two round and apparently parallel objects pulsing and hovering near Trabuco Canyon around 10:15 p.m. Several viewers reported spotting similar objects over Camp Pendleton. Authorities at the U.S. Marine Corps base confirmed there was live fire training last night. Similar sightings were also reported in northern San Diego County and parts of Riverside County. It wasn’t immediately...

Recently I was looking around on some of the conspiracy UFO kook sites out there (hey don't judge me, it is a hobby, I take it all with a rather large grain of salt but find the theories fascinating) and recently one thing that totally amazed me. When I was looking at very old threads around the 2008/2009 time frame there were a lot of threads that were giddy with the anticipation that Obama if elected and after he was elected would be at the forefront of disclosing the "Truth about UFOs". Many of the threads said how finally we...

If God created man in his own image did he create these too in his own image? These aliens have one head with two eyes,-though big, a small mouth and nose and two small ears, almost like us. They have two arms with hands, two feet with toes and a small body. But if they are from outer space, they are very much like us. Did we come from these aliens or did they come from us or did God create two planets that are nearly the same? Of course that depends on whether these images are real or just...

As polarizing of a figure that Zimmerman is, the film is sure to spark controversy among movie goers. In a statement sent to reporters, Smith stated, “It’s obvious that he’s not America’s sweetheart right now but his story is intriguing and it needs to be heard. Hitler wasn’t popular. Does that mean his story is any less interesting? Of course not. Slave masters aren’t popular but 12 Years a Slave was phenomenal. Wait until you

Originally blue-eyed with blonde hair, he became interested in having plastic surgery after spending some time as an exchange student in Korea. He was inspired by how common plastic surgery is here. Xiahn, who asked not to be named to protect his family from Internet scrutiny, underwent 10 surgical procedures on his eyes, along with other less-invasive procedures, which cost him around $3,100. He also began wearing contact lenses to change his eye color.

“It’s going to be interesting to see how people react to the movie – especially considering the fact that Winfrey is most likely playing the role of God. “‘The Shack’ goes to the heart of universal reconciliation, Christian universalism.” It created shock waves among many Christians not only for its theology but also for its portrayal of the Trinity as an elderly black woman, an Asian woman and a carpenter. Universalism is the belief that a God of love and goodness never would allow people to be separated from him forever, which means everyone ends up in heaven.
