It’s official: AMC is moving forward with its Walking Dead companion series in a major way. The top-secret drama, which went through the pilot process with the title of Cobalt, will join the flagship series on the network as the cabler continues to focus on scripted fare. In addition to ordering the pilot to series, AMC has preemptively renewed the drama for a second season. The first season will consist of six hourlong episodes — just like the flagship series did. The drama will premiere on AMC in the “late summer,” with season two set for 2016. Robert Kirkman, who...

Two helicopters carrying passengers filming a popular European reality show crashed Monday in a remote area of northwest Argentina, killing eight French citizens and two Argentines, authorities said. The helicopters crashed while flying near Villa Castelli in La Rioja province, about 730 miles northwest of Buenos Aires, La Rioja Secretary of Security Cesar Angulo told television station TN. All 10 people on board both aircraft were killed. "An explosion occurred and it's believed that they must have collided," said Angulo. "Aeronautical experts will have to determine that." La Rioja police commissary Fabian Gordillo told state news agency Telam that the...

This Is How Hollywood Has Been Fooling You All Along When it comes to contemporary Hollywood films, there's often more than meets the eye. We're not just talking about an elaborate use of special effects and CGI, its those smaller more finite details that are so often easy to ignore. On the set of any movie, along with the crew, actors and stunt doubles you'll also have 'extra's' - people like you and I paid to simply be a warm prop, background fodder if you will. A crowd milling about in a scene or a customer in a shop. Extra's...

NBC has set a May 28th start date for the Charles Manson miniseries Aquarius, which stars David Duchovny as a Los Angeles police officer in pursuit of the Helter Skelter cult leader in the period leading up to the Sharon Tate murder. Game of Thrones actor Gethin Anthony will portray Manson on the 13-episode "event series." Aquarius takes place in 1967 Los Angeles and follows Duchovny's Sgt. Sam Hodiak and a counterculture-infiltrating undercover cop played by Gray Damon as they investigate Manson and his "Family," the Wrap reports.

“I loved Spock,” said President Obama, reacting to the death of actor Leonard Nimoy. Why? Because Spock reminds him of himself. The galaxy’s most famous Vulcan, the president wrote, was “Cool, logical, big-eared, and level headed, the center of Star Trek’s optimistic, inclusive vision of humanity’s future.” Just like you know whom. The president is not the only writer who has drawn comparisons between himself and Spock. I am also a Star Trek fan, but I admit I was somewhat confused by my rather apathetic reaction to Nimoy’s death. And as I thought more about the president’s statement, I realized...

And so it begins... Net neutrality is already being leveraged by the illegal regime to push leftist diversity propaganda. The video, purportedly by the "Ad Council", a liberal outfit, celebrates sodomy among other things. It's titled "Diversity & Inclusion – Love Has No Labels" and will make you sick with its advocacy of perversity. Worse yet, they recruited young children for this campaign. Now that hussein has seized control of the FCC, there will doubtlessly be an edict to make television stations play it.

I didn't see it posted. Earlier today Harrison Ford Crashed out of Santa Monica airport on to a golf course in nearby Venice. It was an old school Ryan (?) he was flying solo. He is injured fairly badly, but not dead. No report said he is expected to die, or live.

In the wake of the #LAPDShooting, the media’s already decided to set the narrative: one where racist cops shoot an unarmed, homeless, black man. You know… just because. But as we comb through this video, there are some key, shocking facts that you may have never heard and/or seen before. Facts that could change everything.. What do you think? Merely another case of police brutality/racism... even after watching this video?

MASTERS OF SCHLOCK The sci-fi and horror movies of the 1950s sparked a trend that continues even today of downright silly titles, ranging from 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!' to 'The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?' to 'Big Ass Spider!' (Yes, there also is a love affair with unnecessary punctuation.) Here, THR breaks down 50 of the best (and funniest) titles of all time.

This tweet from film director Amos Posner blew up across social mediayesterday. It's a photo taken at the What’s Up, Doc? The Animation Art of ChuckJones exhibit at the American Museum of Moving Image in New York: Jones' rules, first made public when he published them in his 1999 autobiography Chuck Amuck: The Life and Times of an Animated Cartoonist, areprobably pretty familiar to animation students and Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote fanatics. They are a fascinating testament to the need for clearly defined systems within a wacky creative process. Fun fact: In an interview for the book Hollywood...
