She is viewed highly among Republicans and Independents, with a rating of 83 percent and 55 percent, respectively. However, among Democrats, only 28 percent view her favorably, with 56 percent of Democrats viewing her as unfavorably. . . The first lady stirred up controversy in June when she wore a jacket with the words “I Don’t Care, Do U?” on her way to visit a children’s detention center in Texas. “It was for the people, and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me, and I want to show them that I don’t care,”

Presidential Approval Index rating of zero for the first time since (Obama was -12 at this time). This is the best for Trump since 3.5 weeks into his presidency. Trump is +4 right now and Obama was -5 at this time.

Or both. Today’s Rasmussen Reports has President Trump at 51% approval, 48% disapproval. Equally significant is his so-called Approval Index, the difference between Strong Approval and Strong Disapproval. That index now stands at -1, with 38% strongly approving of the president. For purposes of comparison, Barack Obama’s Approval Index was -11 at the same point in his presidency. Obama rarely achieved an Approval Index as favorable as -1. I have no doubt that President Trump is benefiting from the Brett Bounce. At the same time, the economy has to be a factor. The unemployment rate is a flawed statistic, but...

Top Republicans tell Axios that they're seeing a surprising and widespread surge in GOP voter enthusiasm, powered largely by support for Brett Kavanaugh and his Supreme Court nomination. What they're saying: "The Kavanaugh debate has dropped a political grenade into the middle of an electorate that had been largely locked in Democrats' favor for the past six months," said Josh Holmes, a former top aide to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. In North Dakota, one of the top races, a Fox News poll yesterday showed Republican challenger Kevin Cramer leading Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D) by 12 points (53%-41%) — up...

The Democrats' all-out attack on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, which culminated in a blisteringly partisan hearing last Thursday, may have backfired on the party just before the November elections. The latest IBD/TIPP poll finds that President Donald Trump's approval ratings made a strong rebound this month, with a four-point gain to 40%, reversing almost the entire loss he suffered the month before. His disapproval rating when from 56% last month to 54% now. What's more, the Democrats' advantage on the generic ballot question plunged from 11 points last month to just 2 points this month.

Support for President Donald Trump does not appear to have dwindled in the aftermath of his former lawyer Michael Cohen pleading guilty to campaign finance violations, with a new poll showing the president has maintained his approval rating. A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll provided to The Hill shows the president with a 46 percent approval rating, one point up from the same survey taken last month that showed Trump with a 45 percent approval rating."Trump continues to strengthen his job approval as the economy strengthens," Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll co-director Mark Penn told The Hill of the survey, which was conducted August...

Maybe the Black community doesn’t hate Trump as initially assumed as the American President saw a surge in his support from Black Americans. This comes even after reports emerged that Trump used the N-word in a recording while on the TV Show ‘The Apprentice.’ At the moment, the approval rating from the Black community sits at 36% which represents double of what it was last year and it’s more than triple what it was in 2016 when it sat at a depressing 8%. What are the reasons for this? Well, it is speculated that it is largely due to Black...

The liberal mainstream news media have a narrative about Donald Trump and they do not deviate. The constant refrain is that the President is unhinged, idiotic, tyrannical and especially racist. Recently, the President was labeled a racist when he criticized CNN’s Don Lemon and NBA star LeBron James. Their latest obsession is the new book written by fired White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman. In the book, Omarosa accuses the President of being a racist and using the “N-word” while hosting The Apprentice on NBC-TV. The President’s inflammatory language was supposedly captured on a tape that has been withheld...

President Donald Trump’s approval among black voters has almost doubled in the space of a year, the latest presidential polling from Rasmussen Reports has found. According to Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Trump’s approval rating among black voters stands at 36 percent, compared with just 19 percent on the same day last year. The significant rise in approval is likely to be an endorsement of Trump’s economic policies – that have seen record low unemployment among the African-American population – and the stock market rise to record highs. The data also suggests Trump is shrugging off accusations of racism from...

The Takeaways Republicans are doing much better than they were a few months ago when it comes to the congressional generic.
