As has been documented repeatedly, celebrities just don't find much material for humor with Barack Obama. He's just so thoughtful, so articulate, so bright, so. . . Fill in the blank, as long as it's sufficiently worshipful. With former President George W. Bush, it's just the opposite. Show biz types can't get enough of poking fun at him. Anyone been watching Jeopardy! recently? The current champion, Larissa Kelly, has won 5 games in a row with a total of $179,797 (averaging almost $36,000 a game). Will she be the next Ken Jennings? Her 5-day total is a new Jeopardy! record for most cash won in a contestant's first 5 games (although it is not a record when adjusted for the increase in clue values). For comparison, Ken won $156,000 in his first 5 games.

Trebek, 67, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late Monday night and was expected to remain there about two days for tests and observation, said show spokesman Jeff Ritter. "Thankfully it was a minor heart attack," Ritter said. He did not give other details. A post on the official "Jeopardy!" Web site said Trebek was "resting comfortably in a Los Angeles hospital, and he will be back in the studio for the next scheduled tapings in January."...

Though I'm not much for posting baby blue humor, I thought it should be posted here for the record, before it passes into the realm of "assumed legend." I'm surprised it hasn't popped up on Drudge Report this morning (seriously). It's like one of those things you hear that supposedly happened on Johnny Carson or the Newlywed Game but really didn't.
