Madison is among several blue cities and states that used taxpayer-funded Covid aid for programs for illegal immigrants. A Wisconsin lawmaker is demanding answers from the city of Madison in the wake of a report showing the leftist enclave doled out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal Covid relief funds to illegal immigrants. “The decision to use pandemic relief money to assist illegal immigrants at the expense of Wisconsinites reveals the out of touch priorities of Madison politicians,” Republican state Sen. Duey Stroebel said Thursday in a statement. His office has filed an open records request “to investigate the...

Hundreds of thousands of migrants have been authorized to fly into Miami, Florida — among dozens of other United States airports — as part of a parole pipeline that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created and implemented. The airports where migrants are flying into the U.S. were revealed in a report from Todd Bensman with the Center for Immigration Studies. As Bensman notes, Biden’s DHS launched the parole pipeline, known as Advance Travel Authorization, in October 2022. It has since permitted 386,000 migrants to book their flights to the U.S. to secure “humanitarian parole.”

President Joe Biden is currently considering granting amnesty to illegal migrants in a bid to act on the worsening immigration crisis, according to Politico. Biden and his administration are weighing several ideas to take a tougher stance on the southern border crisis and illegal immigration amid criticisms he has thus far failed to act on either. The administration could start dolling out green cards to illegal immigrants who have long stayed inside the United States, thereby giving them amnesty to stay in the country, three people familiar with the planning told Politico. The plan would grant migrants who have been...

(Mar. 29, 2024) — The characterization of Brandon as “the slug at 1600” does not adequately describe him. A potential better term might be the “quisling slug at 1600.” Accordingly, a new, abbreviated moniker for the current occupant of the Oval Office is suggested: “the q-slug,” pronounced: “cue-slug.” The term “quisling” derives from the surname of one Vidkun Quisling, a traitor who headed a domestic Nazi collaborationist regime in Norway during World War II. Webster’s defines the term thusly: “One who betrays a trust or an allegiance.” ... continue reading at: https://www.thepostemail.com/2024/03/29/the-quisling-at-1600/

President Joe Biden, with the help of Congress, is spending hundreds of millions in American taxpayer dollars on border security initiatives in foreign countries. At the same time, border crossings at the United States-Mexico border have surpassed 7.4 million since Biden took office. Slipped into a $1.2 trillion budget signed by Biden last weekend is about $380 million for “enhanced border security” projects in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, and Tunisia — about $150 million of which must go to border security in Jordan. Meanwhile, the budget puts strict limitations on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) ability to construct physical...

Gordon Sondland, the former ambassador to the European Union who testified against former President Donald Trump during the Democrats’ first impeachment attempt, has registered as a foreign agent of Ukraine.During the impeachment hearings, Sondland gave contradictory testimony about a White House meeting in exchange for investigations of 2016 election interference and Burisma Holdings, a company tied to the Biden family business. It is unclear what specific work Sondland produces for Ukraine. His registration leaves blank for what “purpose” he works for the embattled county and only notes he works for a “Foreign Principal.” It also does not specify any compensation.

Migrant families in New York city have begun receiving prepaid debit cards as part of a controversial scheme that could see them receive up to $18,200 a year. Officials began distributing the cards to the first ten new arrivals at the city's Roosevelt Hotel shelter on Monday. The cards are preloaded with a week's worth of funds and will be rolled out to 115 families, equivalent to 450 people by the end of the week. Mayor Eric Adams is pressing ahead with the $53 million scheme, despite a furious backlash amid fears the cards are open to abuse. The debit...

The Chinese Communist Party has aggressively built up its military, expanding its arsenal of both conventional and nuclear capabilities. The growth was largely funded by its rival, the United States. That is one of the arguments made by James Fanell, a retired U.S. Navy captain, and Bradley Thayer, a senior fellow at the Center for Security Policy, a Washington-based think tank, during a recent interview with EpochTV’s “American Though Leaders“ program.“The Chinese Navy now is over 150 naval combatants greater than the U.S. Navy. They are now the largest navy in terms of numbers of hulls and tonnage,” said Mr. Fanell,...

As the border crisis continues to worsen, it almost seems like each week brings another tragedy to light illustrating the impact that the problem is having on American citizens. Just weeks after the murder of Laken Riley at the hands of an illegal immigrant, another story out of Massachusetts has people wondering when the government will finally do something about the problem at the southern border.A Haitian migrant was arrested for raping a 15-year-old girl at one of the hotels being used to shelter illegal immigrants and asylum seekers coming over the border. Gov. Maura Healey, a Democrat, chimed in...

President Joe Biden’s parole pipeline at the southern border has released almost 900,000 foreign nationals into the United States since its inception in January 2023 — outpacing the populations of Wyoming, Vermont, Alaska, and North Dakota. On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released figures for February, showing Biden’s parole pipeline is continuing to successfully import tens of thousands of foreign nationals via the U.S.-Mexico border every month.

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander has drawn outrage for claiming that giving each of the tens of thousands of migrants pouring into the Big Apple free legal representation could net billions in economic benefits for New York state. Lander’s office said in a report that coughing up individual lawyers to rep migrants could prevent roughly 53,000 asylum seekers from being deported across the Empire State — resulting in an estimated net benefit of $8.4 billion for local, state and federal governments. “Access to work authorization leads to higher wages. The higher earning power generates more tax revenue. Higher personal...

Immigration judges dismissed deportation cases against some 200,000 migrants under President Biden because the Department of Homeland Security failed to file the required paperwork before their court dates, according to a new report. The DHS’s failure to file thousands of notices to appear before scheduled hearing dates left courts without jurisdiction to handle deportation cases and rule on asylum claims, according to a report released Wednesday by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. “These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raise serious concerns,” the TRAC report, which includes data through February 2024, states. The nonpartisan research...

The Department of Homeland Security has guided over 130,000 illegal immigrants from gang-ravaged Haiti into dozens of unidentified American cities, but it won’t say where. Many of the 133,000 arrived in just one city that the Biden administration won’t identify, according to a federal report reviewed by the Center for Immigration Studies. The Washington-based CIS, which backs ending illegal immigration, said that many immigrants flew themselves to the unidentified cities, while others arrived through land ports only to be released to wherever they wanted to go. The report followed on another from a week ago that revealed how the administration...

U.S. officials were acutely aware that Beijing was trying to obtain America's premiere nuclear reactor technology, including through illicit hacking, months before Hunter Biden and his business partners sought to arrange a quiet sale of an iconic U.S. reactor company to a Chinese firm, according to court records and national security experts. Hunter Biden's unsuccessful efforts to help CEFC China Energy acquire Westinghouse, one of America's most famous electricity and appliance brands, and its state-the-art AP1000 nuclear reactor began in early 2016 while Joe Biden was still a sitting vice president, memos published Wednesday by Just the News show. Hunter Biden and his associates, in their foray into the world of international deal-making, worked with a rogue’s gallery of foreign partners who were under investigation in their home countries or were convicted in the United States.
