Last night at 6:00 pm the phone rang and it was my Senator, Lindsey Graham hosting a "townhall" telephone meeting sponsored by Townhall (I think this was Townhall.com, but I am not sure). The purpose of this meeting was for Lindsey to answer questions from his constituents in a live format.

Two people were killed and four were wounded in a shooting at a town supervisor's meeting in eastern Pennsylvania, a county official reported Monday. The shooting broke out shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET at the Ross Township building in Saylorsburg, about 75 miles north of Philadelphia, Monroe County Emergency Management Director Guy Miller told CNN. Mayhem is the best word to describe what happened at the latest townhall meeting held by Allen West at the Mae Volen senior center in Boca Raton. Protesters, who West addressed at the onset of his presentation, were told that they would be leaving Florida with a “gator whooping.” Although some of the protesters making a scene were escorted out in the middle of the event, others stayed and picked fights with West and his supporters when it was over. Not one to back down from a fight, West said, as he was surrounded, “I’m gonna stand right here.”

It was a chaotic scene with tempers flaring at the latest town hall meeting presented by Congressman Allen West.
