WASHINGTON — Alexandria’s top prosecutor says police were legally justified in using deadly force against the man who opened fire on a congressional baseball practice in June, injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, of Louisiana, and four other people. In a 41-page report released Friday, the commonwealth’s attorney for Alexandria, Bryan Porter, said police were justified in fatally shooting 66-year-old James T. Hogkinson who shot at Republican lawmakers practicing at a baseball field in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria for an upcoming charity baseball game. This is a developing story. Authored by Michael Snyder via The Economic Collapse blog,The public is not being told the truth about what really went down in Las Vegas. As you will see below, the evidence is mounting that there were multiple shooters and that this was an operation that was planned well in advance.  But according to the mainstream media, a 64-year-old retired accountant with a flabby physique that had no military training whatsoever and that wasn’t very experienced with guns was able to pull the whole thing off all by himself.  We are being told that Paddock was a “lone wolf” that didn’t...

Who are the two police who first engaged the shooter? It was an incredibly brave move to engage a shooter with an automatic weapon, using only pistols, if that is what actually happened. Apparently, approximately ten minutes into the heinous crime, a hotel security person and a policeman engaged the shooter and one of them was shot through the door. They probably had only hand guns and were seriously outgunned. It was approximately another hour before SWAT team members were able to set a charge and breach the door, finding the shooter had taken his life. This early contact with...

More than 20 people were killed and 100 injured in a horrific shooting near the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Sunday night, police said. The "nonstop gunfire," according to one witness, sent bystanders outside the resort on the Vegas strip ducking for cover and fleeing for their lives. Tourists hid in their hotel rooms and flights headed into the McCarran International Airport airport were held elsewhere. Bystanders sprang into action, caring for the wounded and at least one described someone dying in their arms. Videos filmed by onlookers gave a window into the chaos that ensued, with...

Police and federal officials said Sunday that the man suspected of stabbing a police officer and plowing a van into pedestrians on Saturday night is a 30-year-old refugee from Somalia, who had been interviewed by the RCMP in 2015. Police and politicians urged Canadians to be vigilant, but called for calm and unity in the wake of a terrorist attack in Edmonton that injured five and led to the arrest of a 30-year-suspect who had previously been investigated for espousing extremist views. It is the second major terrorist attack in Canada this year, following January’s shooting at a mosque in...

Canadian police arrested a man on suspicion of terrorist acts in the city of Edmonton early Sunday after a police officer was struck with a car and stabbed outside a football game, and four people were later “deliberately” hit and injured by a U-Haul truck. The 30-year-old suspect, who was not further identified, had driven both vehicles, according to the Edmonton police chief, Rod Knecht. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada called the spree a terrorist attack. Mr. Knecht said that police officers had found an Islamic State flag in the car that hit the police officer.

Rule of law is imploding in Denmark as “low-tech jihad” and migrant gangs take over the streets. The Danish government should not be surprised. But it appears to be. Thousands of incidents involving loosened wheel bolts on cars, large rocks or cinder blocks thrown from highway overpasses, and thin steel wires strung across bicycle paths meant to decapitate unsuspecting cyclists, is spreading a growing sense of horror among the Danes. In almost all cases, the perpetrators have turned out to be from MENAP countries (Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan).

After yet another terror attack in the city of London, once again the political elites have marshaled their ideas and forces and done absolutely nothing. It is becoming almost a joke, and would be funny if it weren’t for the tragic loss of life that accompanies these attacks, Politicians, who are tasked with defending the nation, seem unable to muster anything more than empty platitudes…It’s just not enough. So far today, I have read the responses of the British Prime Minister, the Mayor of London, The Foreign Secretary and the leader of the opposition…All were bland and completely unhelpful. They...

It's happening again: a number of travelers have been injured after an explosion on an Underground train in London. The explosion, which caused a major fireball eyewitness say, left several people wounded on the train in Parsons Green, which is in the south of the city. North Korea almost certainly will not attack the United States or its armed forces or its distant territories with conventional or nuclear weapons. The costs to Kim Jong-un and his country would be monstrous. Kim’s hyperbolic rhetoric is much more a message to the North Korean people than to Americans, and his hyperbolic language is like his father’s and grandfather’s, and means little. What is highly likely, however, is Kim selling nuclear technology to truly dangerous adversaries of the United States—some of which the United States will be less likely to deter. Nuclear nonproliferation has been an essential part of...
