Let’s face it, none of the candidates are perfect. They never are. But McCain is the least perfect of the viable candidates. The only one left standing who can honestly be said to share most of our conservative principles is Mitt Romney. I say this as someone who has not been an active Romney supporter. If conservatives don’t unite behind Romney at this stage, and become vocal in their support for him, then they will get McCain as their Republican nominee and probably a Democrat president.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Now, this is the next McCain ad that really has the Obama camp fit to be tied. It's entitled "Education." ANNOUNCER: Education Week says Obama hasn't made a significant mark on education, that he's elusive on accountability, a staunch defender of the existing public school monopoly. Obama's one accomplishment: Legislation to teach comprehensive sex education to kindergarteners. Learning about sex before learning to read? Barack Obama, wrong on education, wrong for your family. MCCAIN: I'm John McCain, and I approved this message. RUSH: Oh, this has got 'em fit to be tied. How dare they say this...

CALLER: Hello, Mr. Limbaugh? My name is David Beatty, and I'm 16 years old. I want to thank you for the work you do to educate America and reinforce what my parents teach us. Something I believe needs to be re-taught is the value of a strong work ethic. I want people to know that the American dream is still alive. I live in the northwest where many people sing songs of socialism. Kids at school have no idea what it really means to have a socialist society, giving up their freedoms to, quote, "Spread the wealth." And last year,...

LISTEN ONLINE ON KFI This should be an interesting show tonight. What they have done so far in the Mars mission is just amazing. Just for Sheila Jackson Lee, I hope we can see some photos of where our astronauts planted the flag on Mars.

Rush Endorses Obama Because He Is Anything You Want Him to BeFebruary 13, 2008 BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I'm thinking of endorsing Obama. Well, everybody's asking me about my endorsement. I want to give you a reason why I'm thinking of endorsing Obama. Listen to this. (playing of Barack Obama spoof) Barack Obama, ladies and gentlemen, is a blank canvas upon which anybody can project their fantasies, or their desires. You look at Democrats in the audience, and they're swooning. He's saying nothing. He's saying nothing better than anybody in my lifetime ever has. The reason he says nothing so well...

A local radio talk show host touched off complaints from an Islamic civil rights organization yesterday after repeatedly describing Islam on the air as "a terrorist organization" that is "at war with America." ...the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, asked the station to take disciplinary action against Michael Graham, who hosts WMAL-AM's late-morning call-in program. ...station executive, Randall Bloomquist, said yesterday that Graham's comments were "amped up" but justified within the context of the program. He said the station, which is owned by the Walt Disney..., had no plans to reprimand Graham. The show host touched off the flap during...
  • American Forces Radio gets static from hit man Brock

Remember David Brock? Sure you do. He’s the former self-described “right-wing hit man” who famously transformed himself into a left-wing hit man, although he would probably rather call himself an advocate for “progressive” causes. His latest cause is a campaign to drive Rush Limbaugh from the lineup of the American Forces Radio and Television Service, formerly known as Armed Service Radio. Last week, Brock wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld citing comments from Limbaugh suggesting that the abuse of Iraqi prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison was not as big a deal as some commentators have made it...

On this evening's Michael Savage show, he said he had information that this beheading in Iraq took place approx. a week ago. His point was the beheading was done before the prison pictures were released, thus could not be in retaliation for the release of the pics as the arab animals had claimed. So all the news organizations that are reporting this as fact are wrong. Anyone else here this?

ONE of the surest ways to get the phones ringing on any Massachusetts talk-radio show is to ask people to call in and tell their John Kerry stories. The phone lines are soon filled, and most of the stories have a common theme: our junior senator pulling rank on one of his constituents, breaking in line, demanding to pay less (or nothing) or ducking out before the bill arrives.
