Mark Levin And David Gold Join WBAP-DFW
self

Posted on 09/12/2005 2:27:27 PM PDT by davidtalker

Just wanted fellow freepers to know that WBAP Radio is my new home weekdays. I will continue doing my Saturday and Sunday show for KSFO-San Francisco. For this week my show will run 8-9 PM Central. Beginning next week 8-10 PM.

For many of you the big news here is the addition of "The Great One" Mark Levin. Mark will do 6-8 PM Central. Mark is a friend. It's an honor following his show at WBAP.

WBAP Lineup Mark Davis, Rush, Sean, Levin, Gold

IMHO, that's as good as it gets and a Freeper's "Dream Team."

Congratulations! I started listening to you since I was a wee lad, and you were on KLIF.

I couldn't be happier....

I have been listening to "The show to be named later", for a couple of weeks...AFTER I had called WBAP and put in my vote for Mark Levin...who I adore...

You have done a great job...and I am just thrilled that WBAP is going with both of you!!!!!

Actually, I would rather have you be longer..and get rid of the ex-TV guy...I can't stand him....don't listen...after 9:00.

Good Luck, and congratulations!!!!

I will give you a tip...that you might already know...

Tony Snow does a talk show on Fox Radio...and, even though in Texas, we don't get it in the morning...

There is a LIVE thread everyday that his show is on...and the freepers comment on his show...and HE watches his thread while on the air...and will actually post comments and talk about good posts on the air...

SO..one suggestion...keep your computer on FR...and sometime, you too..might get a hugh FR audience, I am series.

Thanks for the update. WBAP is my home station and was wondering who was going to fill that time slot. We lost a very good guy in Gary Macnamara. Look for him to rise to the very top as well.

I've been a long time fan and I look forward to hearing you again in the Ft. Worth area. Will you be jousting with Bob Ray Sanders on the air?

Way to go, David. I was a long-time National Review reader. Then you were the first right winger I ever heard on the radio. I couldn't believe my ears!

Great suggestion about following the thread here during the show. I will keep an eye on that.

Bob Ray will come on from time to time. I don't know if I can handle too much of that. My heart ya know. As a matter of fact, there is talk of my joing him at the J-School faculty at TCU. Gotta find a way to fit that in. I can't let his Leftist nonsense go unchallenged. Acyually, he's a great human being. Can't you see the two of us debating post Katrina efforts?

For all you Bay Area types. I will never (willfully) abandon KSFO. It's all within the ABC family and I love fussin with all those Bay Area Leftists. Check out this e-mail ensuing from yesterday's show.

I can't remember the year, 89 or 90?, but the first real conservative radio talk show I ever heard was yours on KLIF. I'm in my car most of the day working and talk radio sure was better than trying to find a decent music station. WFAA for awhile in the early 80's had talk but it went to oldies around 84 or 85 and I went without talk until I stumbled onto KLIF a few years later. What was the lineup: Norm, Kevin, Bob Ray, You? Man, it seems like yesterday. Bob Ray would drive me up the wall, but sometimes even Kevin would get a wild hair about something. LOL Congratulations. I'll be listening for you.

Yep. That was me 3-6 for 12 years.

This marks 30 years doing Right Wing Radio. Before "Conservative Was Cool." When Rush was "playing the hits."

Denver, Boston, Tampa, Miami, DFW now for 20 years.
