Rep. Mo Brooks struck back against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Saturday, endorsing former judge Roy Moore over Sen. Luther Strange in the Alabama Senate special election 10 days before Election Day. Brooks, who finished third in round one of the Aug. 15 special GOP primary contest after sustaining million of dollars in political attacks from a super PAC connected to McConnell, made clear that his antipathy toward the Senate majority leader was a motivating factor behind his endorsement of Moore, the former chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. "The Strange/McConnell forces care not one twit about...

As Luther Strange continues to fail to gain any traction on the campaign trail in his home state of Alabama in the final weeks before the GOP primary runoff, he picked up about the worst endorsement one can get in the Yellowhammer State on Wednesday. The globalist, open borders U.S. Chamber of Commerce threw its weight behind Strange’s flailing campaign with less than three weeks to go until the Sept. 26 runoff, as the GOP frontrunner conservative former Alabama Supreme Court chief justice Roy Moore maintains and extends his commanding lead.

Judge Roy Moore is the clear conservative frontrunner for the U.S. Senate GOP primary runoff on September 26, dwarfing the GOP establishment-backed Sen. Luther Strange by more than double digits in a new poll. Moore towers over Strange with a solid majority of the electorate and a 16-point lead. Moore’s 52 percent, per the new poll, dwarfs Strange’s 36 percent in the poll conducted by firm Southeast Research from August 29 to August 31 in Alabama. The poll surveyed 401 likely voters in the runoff and has a margin of error of five percent.

The poll from JMC Analytics provided to Breitbart News ahead of its public release shows Moore with 51 percent, a majority, supporting him, while Strange trails nearly 20 points behind with just 32 percent—and 17 percent are undecided. Moore’s commanding lead comes after he outperformed polls to finish around 39 percent in a multi-way primary this past Tuesday. Strange finished...

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Republican voters here put a bitter Senate campaign into overtime, forcing Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.) into a runoff with conservative jurist Roy Moore for the right to represent Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s old seat. Strange was endorsed by President Trump, the National Rifle Association and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s super PAC, which spent $2.5 million on TV ads to boost him in Tuesday’s primary. That helped push him past Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), saving national Republicans from an embarrassment in a unique mid-summer election marked by low turnout. Democrats, who have not won a Senate race...

Race Preview After weeks of ads, mostly on behalf of incumbent Senator Luther Strange, the votes start rolling in tonight after 8pm EDT. We’ll have comparison charts...

Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore (above) has gained ground on incumbent Luther Strange in the Alabama Republican Senate primary. The primary election is Tuesday. Despite an endorsement from President Donald Trump and his position as the incumbent, Sen. Luther Strange has been unable to hold off surging challenger Roy Moore heading into Tuesday’s Alabama Republican Senate primary election. Strange and Moore are among the eight candidates competing for the Republican nomination for the Senate seat that was vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Strange was appointed to the seat in February by former Gov. Robert Bentley, who resigned...

It was an unforgettable day at the memorably-named company AnalTech. At approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday, a car crash involving two pickup trucks sent one of the vehicles inside the AnalTech building of Newark, Del., leaving a giant hole. The truck damaged the facility's laboratory and caused an odor to emanate from the cavity, WDEL reports. Accordingly, first responders alerted the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, which brought in a HazMat team to handle any leaks.

SYRACUSE — Why have sightings of unidentified flying objects around the nation more than tripled since 2001? Why is July the busiest month for U.F.O. sightings? Why did they spike in Texas in 2008, or in New Mexico in September 2015? And how in the world, or out of it, has Manhattan racked up New York State’s second-highest tally of U.F.O. sightings in this century? These questions and many others emerge from the first comprehensive statistical summary of so-called close encounters: 121,036 eyewitness accounts, organized county by county in each state and the District of Columbia, from 2001 to 2015.

Unfortunately, I just received a call from the national campaign chairman. The event at JCJC has been cancelled. Ted Cruz will not be in Mississippi tomorrow, as he evidently does not feel well. This is difficult news to deliver, but we trust that God has a plan for the campaign and for Mississippi. I wish you all the best.

I am wondering if any FReepers had unexpected results when they did a DNA test during a family History search. In my case I was looking for an oppressed history of serfdom and general nastiness from Norman Overlords during the Middle Ages, just preparing for an Obama America. To my surprise I discovered we were Normans, in the Staple, Merchants, and in general capitalists, until God and Religion brought us unto this Blessed Shore to continue in the same trades. So in this election year of the usual Freeper cage fights I thought to step outside the blood and gore...

Bush clan members aren't fans of having their family dynamics psychoanalyzed - what the political family calls "put on the couch," like a therapy session, according to a recent New York Times article. But while speaking at a town hall-style event on Thursday in Londonderry, N.H., the 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush got people talking when, without being asked, he revealed that he loves his mother, Barbara, the most. "I get asked all the time: 'Well, are you like your brother? Are you like your dad?'" he said. "I know there's a real fascination about this. Let's just -...

The men of the Bush family hate being "put in the couch," their preferred term for dismissing the news media's attempts to psychoanalyze their political dynasty. But it might be worth bringing in Sigmund Freud for Jeb Bush's latest remarks. Speaking at a town hall-style event on Thursday, Mr. Bush, unprompted, offered that he loves his mom, Barbara Bush, most of all. -snip- let me get this out of the way: I love my mother more than my dad."

The jury is still out on whether or not Jeb Bush is okay, and this new information might not do much to reassure anyone on the fence about it. Apparently the presidential hopeful carries small toy turtles around in his pockets to remind others - and presumably himself - that "slow and steady wins the race." Bush gave Zacharie, 13, a tiny turtle & told him "slow and steady wins the race." Bush carries them in his pocket.

#1 On Wednesday, the New York Stock Exchange, United Airlines and the Wall Street Journal were all taken down by unexpected “technical glitches“. Authorities are assuring us that hackers were not responsible for any of this. #2 In China, a full-blown stock market crash is unfolding. The Shanghai Composite Index has plummeted more than 30 percent in less than a month, and the Chinese version of the NASDAQ has dropped by more than 40 percent. The amount of “paper wealth” that has been lost in China is 15 times greater than the GDP of Greece. #3 Just the other day,...
